Ain't it cool? I LOVE FReepin!

Now if we can get as many people as we did the night we Freeped Clinton, the day after the Juanita Broadderick rape allegation was finally broacast on NBC, that would be something. That was our best moment in San Francisco FreepHistory.
Thank You San Francisco!

The Sacramento crew just arrived home folks... we're a little beat but so very proud of you all. Just being in your guests was an honor for us. You have our pledge to the continuing of the networking we did today. You met the other camp head on, you made a statement and you represented what 70% of your fellow countrymen believe, We're doing the right thing. I've uploaded unedited photos in the Photo Album hosted by our great friend in Talk Radio, KFBK's Mark Williams. Click here to browse photos we took today. I'll post a few more photos here later tonight but I thought it appropriate to once again thank the San Francisco Police Department for defending our First Amendment rights against a hostile and overwhelming opposition. I have attended many police swearing-in ceremonies and far too many funerals in my professional career. One sentiment is often expressed in words much more eloquently than I can muster now. We saw it today... "The Thin Blue Line is often the only thing that stands between you and evil. |
I've not had time to answer everyone's email yet, not read the messages here. That said, I know what our small contribution to today's event meant to us... a very heartwarming experience. Thank You All
Now, an object lesson for Bay Area Freepers, new and old alike. This is especially for those of you who will be helping Cinnamon with the new San Francisco Chapter. There will always be those who sit at home watching television, who will fire up the p.c. out of sheer boredom, and log into Free Republic. Then they will run across a serious question (See link below) posed by a new Freeper, who is naive enough to be unaware of the flame wars that light up Free Republic often. Oh... the keyboard warrior's wisdom will begin to flow and the uninitiated will wonder just what the heck they did to start family genocide! I can offer only one humble bit of advice: Don't buy into it. Those who were so busy fighting cyber logic wars today, missed the whole point of what many of us were doing all over this country this weekend. They don't get, YOU DO!! God bless you, God Bless America and goodnight fellow patriots!
Why can't we pull similar numbers?

Great FReep! Thanks everyone who stood up for America today, and, countered the Leftists in San Francisco today.
(Note: STL, the street in front of City Hall is Carleton Goodlett Place, not McAllister.)
(I didn't write down names, so if I miss a few, sorry, and, please check in)

Thank you to those FReepers and FRiends who made the long trek to the City. We appreciated your presence. Thank you comwatch and flagbrigade for bringing your FRiends. Thank you KSFO listeners. Welcoming you to Free Republic. : )
THANK YOU KSFO Radio hosts David Gold, Lee Rodgers and Melanie Morgan, Brian Wilson, and Barbara Simpson for your help in getting the word out. There were a number of people there today who heard about the FReep thanks to the KSFO announcements. (Didn't hear the interviews on David's show - busy FReeping, ya know. ; )) But, heard part of Barbara's show, and she was very encouraging for FReepers to let her know about up-coming events. (BTW, FYI, heard that the Lefties may be on the march again March 1, so heads up FReepers.)
A special thank you to the SFPD - please see post #55 (thanks comwatch!) FReepers and please send a note of thanks. Thank you. (They certainly had their hands full today.) Today they were really great in the way they watched out for our safety. Much appreciation.
Grateful for the good weather.
I noticed some of the usual Lefties with their usual "in your face" tactics of being confrontational with some of our group to make for photo-ops.
Thank you again everyone! @60 people - whoo-hoo! : ) Although, it's seem like we didn't get much Media coverage, we know we were there!
Trust me. 'Pod
We are planning on having our first official Bay Area Chapter meeting on 3/15. Ill be posting information about that very soon, so stay tuned for the details.
After the success of our SF counter-protest yesterday, a few of us thought it would be a good idea to capitalize on the momentum and meet a little sooner, to do some brainstorming, organizing and planning.
So weve planned an earlier meeting for next Saturday, 2/22, at 1pm at the Pacific Coast Brewing Company in Oakland. Its right near a BART stop (12th St.) and Drango has already checked it out and found it suitable for a meeting of this kind. Luckily they also have a web site, which includes directions. Click here for that info.
So come on down----any and all are welcome---well be just as happy if 5 people show up as 50! Please FReepmail me if you are planning on coming, so we can keep a head count.
Also, if anyone is interested in being added to the Bay Area Chapter ping list, send me a FReepmail and let me know.

It seems the "most likely to have earned a section eight or alleged" veteran crowd, found a another brow beating tactic. Slimy Scotty Ritter often beat up newsies with a similar tactic; whenever a newsie would begin to question Ritter's 180 degree flip-flop. Questioning your right to counter-protest, since you did not serve in the armed forces.
If a "thanks for your service" doesn't calm them; you might want to respond with something like:
Tell me sir, what did you think about Al Gore disqualifying out our soldiers/sailors overseas absentee ballots? You've been hanging with the same crowd which supports the Gore military voter disenfranchisement scheme.
If you get any response other than agreement with you after that zinger, it is likely they are not a veteran. This veteran thanks you FReepers for supporting the young men and ladies of the US Armed forces. Don't forget to e-mail the troops with your FReep stories. They will love it. And consider the news source they suffer.
They're watching CNN.
