Did we have fun or what?  I was just starting to decompress, made the mistake of watching the 11 O'clock news here in Sacramento and opening my Freepmail.  Mainstream media coverage or not, it was just great knowing you all were there and that we had our day in the sun. 

Now, an object lesson for Bay Area Freepers, new and old alike. This is especially for those of you who will be helping Cinnamon with the new San Francisco Chapter. There will always be those who sit at home watching television, who will fire up the p.c. out of sheer boredom, and log into Free Republic. Then they will run across a serious question (See link below) posed by a new Freeper, who is naive enough to be unaware of the flame wars that light up Free Republic often. Oh... the keyboard warrior's wisdom will begin to flow and the uninitiated will wonder just what the heck they did to start family genocide! I can offer only one humble bit of advice: Don't buy into it. Those who were so busy fighting cyber logic wars today, missed the whole point of what many of us were doing all over this country this weekend. They don't get, YOU DO!! I had a lot of fun out there today. Looking forward to the next one. I arrived at the Bart station just in time to see the beginning of the follow up idiocy. I hope all those 'families' were proud to be associated with that group.
Did anyone see the KPIX coverage (I think it was them). They were interviewing VFW members about the war. First there was a group of 4 well spoken veterans who support Bush, but in order to get veterans for the other side, they had to interview two drunks in a bar.
