Photos from the Tower District "Peace March."
My guess is there was probably a couple thousand of "them" vs about ten of "us." We were pretty much alone on our little corner, at first, as a huge crowd began forming across the street. Hundreds of marxists, peaceniks, hippies and assorted weirdos kept streaming in until the parking lot was completely filled with a swarming mass of misguided humanity, and then they lined both sides of the street for about two blocks, including moving in on and surrounding us good guys. Learned first hand that the nice thing about being surrounded is, you can attack in any direction.
Them:
The good guys:
Present today: Jim Robinson, Saundra Duffy, Stuart Weil, At Bay, and several people who were with us last night. Sorry, I did not get there names. Plus, we were joined by a couple patriotic families who were attracted to our flags and banners.
After the street rally, they marched up to Fresno Community College about six blocks north of the Tower District. We positioned ourselves at the entrance to the campus and heckled "Saddam's Human Shields" as they passed to and fro in front of us.
One aging hippie lady couldn't take what we were dishing out and actually came after At Bay. He took a few steps backwards but the old hippie bull dyke kept charging. Hadn't been for a quick thinking police lady stepping in, I think the old gal would've given At Bay quite a beating.
Some peace rally. Oh, well. We were few in number but I'm glad we were there. There were camera crews and reporters present from several TV stations and newspapers. I'm sure they'll get a good write-up and I'm also sure that several of the camera crews got good shots of a handful of patriots proudly waving the flag amidst a sea of traitors!

>>>And what is that thing in the 4th picture of the protesters wearing? A burka?
Ha! That IS funny! ;)

Oh? Tell me more.
Freepmail is OK, unless you have stuff that would be of more general interest, or in need of broader awareness.

And what is that thing in the 4th picture of the protesters wearing? A burka?Body bag. Nice touch. Too bad it didn't use a real one...

Love to tell you more. However, that is 2 years worth of info....this is a message board. What is Freepmail? I'm new here.

Naw, I've seen body bags. They're plastic and have a zipper.
Now if they'd taken a little black plastic sheeting and some duct tape....

I just checked your profile. You don't leave a warm spot in my heart from reading that. I will have to get to know you better first.
To: Calpernia
EXCELLENT!
You'll do quite well here!

Thank You Patriots

Your weather looked perfect, but where are the leaves on the trees? I thought Southern California was green year-round. LOL!
Your signs all look great. Some of the opposition's signs look like they came off machines. I'd love to know what was written on that 'burka' cladded Saddami.
These people just don't have a clue what message they are giving when they lash out -- tho they are supposedly, the peacemakers; or when they trash -- tho they are, supposedly, the earth lovers.

I am a military wife and mom. Hubby's been deployed since Jan. and son leaves Friday. I am so proud of all of you for being out there. God bless you.

You've just proved that you have a very healthy skepticism.
You have shown caution, and good judgement in not spilling all to an anonymous screen name.
You passed the street smarts section of the IQ test with flying colors.
Stick around.
If you want to know me better, I use the FReeoples threads as a home base...

And WE are PROUD of YOU and your husband for making great sacrifices so that we can sit here safe and secure in our homes, posting to FR.
God bless you both!
