It simply proves to me that THEY believed that Clara didn't intend to kill David. That she loved him, and his death was an accident.

That is what I said. She sufferd a travesty of justice. I have never heard of someone getting jail time for a killing like this. She deserved 2 years suspended. Maybe 2 years in jail for having the daughter in the car.

What got Clara in trouble was that she killed her husband in such a dramatic manner, had his daughter with her in the car and was videotaped.

Texas courts are known to cut deals in "S&W divorces". This one was too public and gross.

People outside of Texas are sure going to be surprised by that SCA down in Houston. I don't think she's serving the full ten years.

As a native Texan, I'm rather embarrassed by this sordid mess. The entire story had every earmark of a trailer park gothic set in surburbia. Trashy, trashy people.
