I shudder every time the ladies name is brought up, as it means more inane and non info. When and if thay find a body and an arrest is made, that will be reportable. How dreadful it must be for you, chained to that TV that is permanently set on the 24-hour news channel.
Maybe we could start a letter-writing campaign to your keepers, to try to get them to re-set the TV to the "Standard English" channel.
To: Heyworth
By the way, I also have enough of a real life that I'm going out to the desert with my wife for the weekend and won't be checking in here until Tuesday evening, so don't think that you shamed me away when I don't respond
Ha Hey, don't forget your roll of plastic and your duct tape. Have fun. See you Tuesday.

Methinks thou dost protest too much!

Gee, and I was just taking on faith your statement that you have "enough of a real life that I'm not looking up old threads by my critics to bludgeon them with."
Yes.

DANTE WROTE: "The stepfather indicated that the boat might have been a recent purchase. He hadn't seen it before."
Scott MAY have bought it specifically to use it to dispose of the body he was planning to need to get rid of soon.

It must be a pleasure to be a voyeur and constantly look for and need others misery. My remote is broken, but at least I do not fill my day watching and feeding off others misfortune.

There are several reasons, IMHO, why Laci's story is widely discussed by the media. She was a female, pregnant and disappeared on Christmas Eve. It is a mystery story. And she is from California -- victims from California seem to get more attention than others.
As for the black woman mentioned above -- it also deserves attention. Claims have been made that the media tends to ignore missing boys in contrast to girls and women. Freerepublic, for example. was one of the few sources for information about a boy -- I forgot his name -- who was tortured and murderd by two men.

Yeah, guess you're right. Guess I'll switch to the other news stories. It's much better to concern ourselves about how much fatter Rosie's gotten, or how if we get to the store after the last roll of duct tape has been sold, we're as good as asphyxiated, or how "the economy" is doing this or doing that, or how Michael Jackson is a big phony. (Gee, who'd have thought?)
I know you don't fill your day "watching and feeding off others misfortune," b/c I can see that you prefer to spend it criticizing people who are minding their own business, having a discussion with which you needn't concern yourself in any way.
I'll see what we can do about using our collection to buy you a new remote. And some duct tape, which by the way has many uses.

I think we shamed him away, huh?
Nice to know he even has a sense of shame.
To: Devil_Anse
I have a feeling he'll be back. But I'll be ready.

Hey einstein -- I didn't post the coaching article and agree it's not germane to this board, but I defended my alma mater against uninform and wrong-headed silliness. I considered it a duty. Funny that you reflexively scoured my posting history to come up with one single off-topic post. So did another ninny.
That probably was the only thread about the ND job -- there are countless threads about this overhyped and sensationalized crime story. All you Junior Geraldos and Penny-Ante Gretas look like a bunch of dweebs.
The point remains that it's the same clowns who are obsessed with this story as were obsessed with the Jon Benet story as were obsessed by the Van Damm story. I really don't know why you find it interesting or germane.

Seriesly, who is Scott Peirson?
I believe I've seen the name here a couple of times, but I don't know who he is or what story he is attached to.
