I said I would never watch the show, but I got hooked. I thought Zora was a great choice. It was also funny on one of his "dates" where he was distracted by a construction site (his real job). However, I wonder what Zora will do when she finds out Joe is a pauper.
Old Joe Millionaire - what a guy.

Oh, im sorry. My response wasn't personal in the least - it was a wisecrack, that's all.
I know many people who watch around 20 or more hours a week. I try and watch under 4 hours. They often get a laugh when I have no idea who is on the cover of TV Guide, but to me its no big deal! ;-)

No, she said she wanted to be a "mercenary". I thought that she meant "missionary", but being exceptionally stupid (which is quite a feat in itself, given the company she was in there), she just used the wrong word.
My seond favorite line from the show was when Sara said that Evan wasn't "extraneously intellectual". Anyone care to venture a guess as to the meaning of that? I came up with several possibilities, but none made any more or less sense than the others. I considered "externally intellectual", "exceptionally intellectual", "excessively intellectual"...

I stopped buying TV Guide when they had articles written by Carville (during the Dole race) and the editors thought the most important thing to know was who was the latest homo actor.

Your just mad because he canned the babe with the curly hair :)
She had too much "fat potential". You can tell she has to fight to not explode into a size 14. Nice smile, but a yap that looks like Mr.Ed.

My husband loved the part where Sarah was saying that Evan was not very sophisticated, and then Sarah ordered a wine that wasn't very "grapey". She's very sophisticated herself.

3- (Heard this from somebody else) He picks Sarah and she ditches him when she finds out that he is poor. He then picks Zora which could lead to back to possibility 1 above. After seeing previews for the final(heh) final, I did get the thought that this is indeed what happens. He picks the money grubbing Sarah who thinks she can smooth him over given enough money, but upon finding out he has none she says "see ya". So he then quickly runs to Zora and and they live happily ever after.

"TV's answer to a "Meat Market"
A bunch of moronic women(?)vieing for the right to be chosen by a moronic man (?) after making a complete fool of themselves in front of a moronic audience of TV watchers.
Great just fu**ing great."
Don't hold back - tell us what you really think. Myself I think the guys a duffus from what little I've seen of him. Anyway 99.9999% of TV stinks and Americans should be living life and not watching a fake version of it.

The Marriot family don't own those hotels I don't think.

There's no downside to saying yes, but you could lose everything by saying no. Actually, it is exactly Albert Einstein's reason for believing in God.Sounds like Pascal's wager. Back to the thread . . .

I thought the same thing, but I read on another board that 'grapey' is actually used by some who know a lot about wines. From someone who was not an expert, it would sound dumb. Just what I heard.

Nah, the twist is they're competing for a shot to marry a millionaire, but it's not Joe.
The real millionaire they get to marry is Michael Jackson.
To: Hacksaw
They both look very similar, which kinda tells you the kind of look the guy prefers. But Zora (right) is the gem between the the two.

Evan Marriott is not related to the Hotel Marriotts, so he won't be seeing a dime of the money.
The twist at the end is..... And don't read any further if you don't want to know.....
At the end, the woman will get to choose whether she wants to be with Evan or receive a million dollars. Evan receives a million for being on the show.
