I said I would never watch the show, but I got hooked. I thought Zora was a great choice. It was also funny on one of his "dates" where he was distracted by a construction site (his real job). However, I wonder what Zora will do when she finds out Joe is a pauper.
Old Joe Millionaire - what a guy.

Maybe this whole thing is just Fox's way of telling people to "Get A Life."

My guess is that while he is poor, he gets a decent chunk of change from FOX for doing this. I would say at least $1 million. He won't tell any of the women this until after he has spilled the beans about not inheriting the money.

How did you like it when Melissa revealed that she wanted to bath orphans in third world countries and be a "mercenary"?

"30 minutes later she's still standing there."
2 minutes later, you both finished re-enacting your favorite scene. Hahahaha.

She's an idiot. This woman is helpless. She couldn't even cook dinner, and she thinks she is suited to "bathe" third world children. What a joke.

With all the rain in Socal, there were lots of accidents yesterday. I could watch car accidents on the local news or Joe Millionaire. Thank God for rain.
To: Blood of Tyrants
mercenary I laughed my butt off at that comment. She didn't say she wanted to be a mercenary. She said she was "mercenary minded". I think she meant she had an attitude of mercy. Though, that's not what she ultimately said.
To: Jadge
Nope. No scene re-enactments. Now there was the time when a few weeks later she asked me for batteries for a particular appliance of hers. I gave her the batteries and got away from her fast.
To: sparkomatic
She didn't say she wanted to be a mercenary.Yes, she did. They replayed that part Monday night. I think just to show what an idiot she is.

I bet the "twist" at the ending is that they're going to give the guy a bunch of money after he tells the woman he chooses that he doesn't have any.

The thing is that the girls have to know this could be the case and that calling that bluff costs them nothing-- she isn't going to be wedded that moment (she only has to accept the proposal). There's no downside to saying yes, but you could lose everything by saying no. Actually, it is exactly Albert Einstein's reason for believing in God.
To: Blood of Tyrants
My guesses on the twist:
1- One of the tabloids claimed to have wedding pictures of Evan and Zora. (But tabloids claim to have lots of other pictures too)
2- Evan's last name is Marriot. He may be dirt poor, but set to inherit the Marriot hotel fortune one day.
3- (Heard this from somebody else) He picks Sarah and she ditches him when she finds out that he is poor. He then picks Zora which could lead to back to possibility 1 above.

Man, life is so cool when you don't watch much tv! :-) I actually do not watch too much - just mainly this show and "The Shield".

She was a good sports when asked about it later (the mercenary comment) and shrugged it off to being geeky and nervous on a date.

And now on shows like ET, Evan is treated like a celebrity, going to movie premieres, and he wasn't with any of the girls from the show.

They call this a "reality" show, because he pretends to be a millionaire, and because all those girls pretend to love him. Fortunately my local station still has I Love Lucy reruns.
