Saluting Kilmeade in Kuwait!
Posted on 02/12/2003 3:55:43 AM PST by ConservativeMan55
Right now on Foxnews Brian Kilmeade is in Kuwait. Brian is one of the best commentators they've got on Foxnews, so when I heard he was going to Kuwait I was a little bit concerned for his safety.
But when I turned on the TV this morning I was quickly reassured. I thought maybe he would do like most of the foreign correspondants, and sit on top of a roof somewhere. But nope, not our patriotic Brian! He's sitting on top of a tank surrounded by about 25-30 US Soldiers! The tanks got a "Don't Tread on me sign on it" and An American Flag, and their ending every segment screaming "Hoo-Yaa!!!"

He had the tank crew saying "HEY" to their family, wives and kids...very stirring and Patriotic...almost teary eyed. These are the finest of the USA!
I loved the part when they said=="Which way to Baghdad?" and they ALL pointed in the same direction and said "UUUURAAAHHH"...
Let's Roll!

He just questioned a LT who was pumping 95 lbs above his head. What a tool.

Thanks for calling this to my attention! I had forgotten he was in Kuwait, so I missed the first segment, but I am tuned in now, and they just had a short segment with him. He will be back in a minute or two.

I am in Taipei, can only get the horrific CNN International...ugh.
How can I watch Fox News on the web?
To: watsonfellow
I am sorry to tell you that you can't. I will try and provide info on Kilmeade's segments for you, though.

Kilmeade went off on Osama! "You call digging in trenches, and hiding in a little cave a victory!!!"

It is a real shame that Bozell's MRC does not highlight CNN's international channel. Ugh, I think even hard core ADA types would gag at the profound and unassailable (is that spelled correctly) bias that goes on.
For diversity of opinion, you have expert commentator one who thinks Bush is evil, expert commentator two who disagrees as Bush is just stupid and it goes on and on.
And don't even get me started on their coverage of the Palestinian terrorists!

Brian seems to be in his element!

Well, here is the segment that just concluded:
Kilmeade at Camp New York. Shows phone stations where soldiers can phone home. Interviews a sergeant who has left two kids and a wife at home, but is used to it because this is his third deployment. Then another guy (didn't get the rank) who got to go home when his baby was born 6 weeks ago. Said it was harder to come back after that, but he will be ok.
Willima Langenesse, Fox correspondent who has been in Afghanistan, talks about Kuwaiti attitude. Says Kuwait has experience with Saddam raping their country and see Americans as a benevolent force. He points out that the US could have kept the Kuwaiti oil fields but gave the country back to the Kuwaiti rulers. (Bet you won't hear that on CNN!) Then he goes on to say that Saddam has killed more Muslims and Arabs than the US and Israel combined have done in the last 40 years!
Finally, a woman from Alabama calls in and asks if the soldiers have e-mail and suggests we e-mail our support. Kilmeade is going to find out the e-mail address.
Gosh, I love Fox News!

Don't forget, a few days after 9/11, when Clinton was on the streets of New York feeling people's pain, Kilmeade accosted him on the air and asked him if he felt responsible!
I have loved Brian Kilmeade ever since.
