Benjamin Curtis, the 22-year old actor who portrays the Dell Guy in those bothersome computer commercials, was arrested late last night (2/9) on a marijuana possession charge, The Smoking Gun has learned. According to cops, Curtis was holding a "small bag of marijuana" when he was popped on Manhattan's Lower East Side (at Ludlow and Rivington for you Gothamites). Curtis is currently being held in Central Booking and is scheduled to be arraigned later today in Manhattan Criminal Court. Curtis, who lives in lower Manhattan, was charged with criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor. Bonnie Shumofsky, the actor's agent, said she was unaware of her client's bust when contacted this morning by TSG. (1 page)

I believe his father is an Episcopalian minister. I also thought I heard that he is easing up his commercial schedule so that he could go to college.

and cigarette smoking destroys your lungs

eating steaks kills your colon

maintaining a high carb/high fat diet will kill your heart and arteries

not exercising makes you fat which causes heart problems...

Your point?

From Wired News

Apple 'It' Girl Breaks Silence

First she turned down David Letterman. Then she said no to Jay Leno.

For months, Ellen Feiss, the mysterious Net celebrity who starred in a popular commercial for Apple Computer's "Switch" campaign, refused all interview requests, including those from the two titans of late-night television.

But Feiss, whose fame continues to grow even as she eschews the media spotlight, has finally granted her first sitdown with a reporter, albeit from an unlikely publication.

The interview with the Brown Daily Herald, the college newspaper of Brown University, will be published Friday.

In that article, Feiss reveals she was, as many of her "fans" had guessed, under the influence of drugs during filming of the infamous commercial that shot her to Internet fame, but exactly what she took, editors at the Herald aren't saying; all is revealed in the interview. The best guess is allergy medication, according to online scuttlebutt.

"It wasn't pot," said Zach Frechette, the Herald editor who conducted the interview.

Well, one thing Libertarians have going for them that Republicans have supposedly believed in and FAILED to bring about is less government. That doesn't mean reducing spending INCREASES to 4% a year, that means REDUCING spending.

$2.2+ TRILLION federal budget? Give me a break.

Not surprised he was busted. After all, we're on Orange Alert.

If we got to RED ALERT, do you think we'll get to toss some of the BIG Hollywood types in prison finally? I'm thinking Martin Sheen, Madonna, Alec Baldwin, etc...

More from the Ellen Feiss interview -

Q - "Does it bother you at all that some of your fame might be related to your perceived state of sobriety in the commercial?"

A - "It doesn't really bother me. I do admit to looking pretty out of it in that commercial = I think I look horrible. It was after school, but I was the last person to make the commercial, so by the time I made it it was like 10, so I was really tired. The funny thing was, I was on drugs! I was on Benedryl, my allergy medication, so I was really out of it anyway. That's why my eyes were all red, because I have seasonal allergies. But no one believes me."

And the new interns are better.

Ever watch the one where the kid gets scolded for putting his hand in the PC? Watch it closely next time for errors. It's a scream.
