ITHACA -- Society's problems would be better solved with less emotion and partisan rhetoric and more application of scientific knowledge, Janet Reno told a packed Statler Auditorium on Thursday night.
Reno, on the Cornell University campus for two weeks as a Frank H.T. Rhodes Class of '56 Professor, gave a speech titled "Truth and How We Seek It."

She cited the use of DNA evidence to exonerate convicts in particular as proof that science and knowledge trump emotion, and that witnesses are not always right or telling the truth. I wasn't going to post this until I got to this part.
Who, in God's name, is Reno to say this, after the wildly improbable and false charges of child abuse she pursued during her tenure as Dade County attorney? She promulgated some of the most patently unreliable child witness testimony since the days of the Salem Witch trials.

"All memory becomes relative to the person remembering," she said.
To: Behind Liberal Lines
"We need to look at where the facts take us, as opposed to personal emotion and traditional ideas," she said. Wasn't this the platform of the Natural Law Party (one of the minor parties during the last presidental election.) We can use science to solve all our problems.
If I'm not mistaken, I believe their candidate also came out and said that during his meditation time he would levitate.
Why is it that the people that claim to be scientific are often the least scientific?

"Society's problems would be better solved with less emotion and partisan rhetoric " :
Said by the QUEEN of partisan rhetoric. "But if we don't try hard to address the problems in society, things can get a lot worse." : And if "we" apply (dumbocratic) dumb*ss solutions to the problems, things can get a lot worse.
"All memory becomes relative to the person remembering," : From the Attorney General who could not remember anything and could not talk about anything regarding the Clintons.

Would killing the folks at WACO be one of her "unemotional" examples?? She would have done it different if she knew what would happen. Geez, she MADE it happen.
The lady should view the speech she made after she ordered the WACO hit. You can't get more "unemotional" than that.
Janet was nothing more than a Clinton "wind-up" doll. Wonder what they have on her??

Wheeling Jesuit University, formerly Wheeling College, hosted the baby-killer Reno as its Commencement Speaker, and gave her an honorary degree, in May of 2000. Wheeling also has a building named after a baby-killer, Robert Byrd.
Wheeling, which claims to be a Catholic school, is thus in the record as not being bothered much by the killing of 42 million American babies. Catholics, by definition, are bothered by the killing of millions of babies.
Parents can be sure that Wheeling is among the majority of "Catholic" colleges at which their children's Catholic Faith is not safe.

"All memory becomes relative to the person remembering," she said...
She spoke to the need to remain objective in criminal investigations...
"We need to look at where the facts take us, as opposed to personal emotion and traditional ideas," she said... Wow! This is a treasure trove of deceptions and self-delusions for the chief law enforcement officer during the Clinton Administration.
Everything in the Clinton Administration was relative, but especially for Clinton himself. He didn't lie because he didn't think he was lying. It all depends on what the definition of 'is' is... All that campaign finance stuff (Gore at the Temple, Clinton coffees, donor calls from the White House) -- mere technicalities... Hey, all those witnesses left the country! How was the Justice Department expected to get to the bottom of those investigations?!
Who could blame Janet's Justice Department if Hillary's testimony in front of the Grand Jury was done BEFORE her long missing records were discovered -- no reason to bring her back and humiliate her after that one appearance!
Cornell must be very proud of this esteemed Alum!
