WASHINGTON -- Dozens of big companies are backing the University of Michigan and its affirmative action policy before the Supreme Court, saying such programs help produce better workers of all races and ethnic backgrounds.

The University of Michigan case is the most significant affirmative action case to reach the high court in decades. At issue is whether racial preference programs unconstitutionally discriminate against white students.

"Microsoft, Intel, American Airlines, Proctor & Gamble, Eastman Kodak and PepsiCo are among the more than 40 Fortune 500 companies siding with the University of Michigan."

Remember these criminals. They are NOT American Companies. They are internationalist cabals whose primary loyalties lie with profits whereveer they can make them.

Scumbag Darryl Gates of Microsoft doesn't surprise me. He has been an outspoken and substantial contributor to anti-gun organizations.

Better workers my a**. How can a less qualified person be a "better worker"? They realize that in a few short years the people of color will be a majority and therefore represent a larger market share and are kissing up to them. It's all about profit.

This is the same old arguement we heard twenty plus years ago when school busing was all the rage among the Liberals. Mixing people together by skin color was suppose to make black kids smarter then, and now it's suppose to make more profits for corporations. Same old theme with a different twist.

What these guys don't talk about is how come their companies got to be successful with all those white guys working for them? What has mixing skin colors got to do with corporate success? It didn't make black kids smarter with school busing, and it's not going to make more profits for corporations today. A mostly white, suburban, well educated, upwardly mobile culture has done wonders for the corporate world, and now a "diverse" quota system is suppose to do better? I don't think so. Like the old saying goes: If its not broken don't fix it.

It'll be worth the time to keep an eye on these guys and see how this all plays out. The corporate world is an unforgiving world driven by reality, and there's little room for flavor-of-the-month do-gooders. I've got a feeling that once the numbers start to reflect reality a lot of white guys are going to have to work longer and harder to cover the butts of their CEO's.

Perhaps there is another motivation. Jessee Jckson et al have developed rules for diversity hiring and the demands exceed the available population.

If the avaiable population of degreed minority workers falls the problem is exacerbated. The university admissions process functions as does the athletics program for the NFL. It culls the marginal.

Even if the Michigan graduate proves to be subpar, he has been vetted through an admissions process that declared him to be within the limits of broad acceptability.

For human resources type faced with minority hiring quota, it is better to hire someone drug through the big university process than the totally incompetant product of a community college that allows any minority in the system to graduate.

The person really hurt are those very capable in the smaller state colleges who must compete with incompetant graduates pushed up through the system.

Never like those anyhow. PepsiCo did surprise me though. I guess I will have to turn to RC Cola and Dr. Pepper now. Gatorade, Frito Lay, Tropicana, Rice a Roni, SoBe Drinks, Starbucks are all operated by PepsiCo too. I believe that Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, KFC, and Long John Silvers are all under their umbrella too if I remember right.

"If you're going to be a global company and you're going to attract and retain the best people, then the mirror you have to present is that you're a very diverse company,"

What the hell does this have to do with quotas and race? If the applicant is the best for the job, hire them, it doesn't matter what their race is or what minority class they fall under.

Remember too that the government requires that these companies hire minorities. as long as they force companies to hire unqualified people based on racial quotas they will back preferences in school admissions.

I'll bet a lot of Fortune 500 Companies are terrified to speak up against the U of M reverse racism policy. The slavering NAALCP goon squads are always circling their headquarters, waiting to pounce for any reason.

This is the key, and since they have been doing this the level of english in correspondence has dropped to 8th grade.

Without some way to boost the admissions rate for minorities, top colleges and universities would quickly become mostly white, Michigan administrators and supporters claim.

TRUTHFULLY answer the question "WHY?" and you will have come to the root problem. Then cure the root problem. The liberals answer has been to discriminate to eliminate discrimination. Foolishness!
