A Virgina state trooper was shot and an unidentified gunman killed when officers attempted to arrest an illegal alien from Mexico after receiving a tip that the alien had a plan to poison the state's water supplies, reports the Virginian-Pilot.

An informant had told authorities that Ipolito "Polo" Campos, who is now in custody, had said he was from an "Arabian" country and "if he did not poison the water someone would kill him," court records state. The FBI began investigating Campos after receiving the information on Jan. 18.

When state troopers arrived at Campos' mobile home on Virginia's Eastern Shore to arrest him Tuesday, a gunfight ensued. The trooper, H.A. Chambers, was shot in the arm, reports the Virginian-Pilot, and is in good condition.

According to Phil Mann of the Norfolk, Va., FBI office, a second person at Campos' home was shot and killed in the gunfight with the troopers.

Federal prosecutors say Campos had previously been kicked out of the U.S. and was facing charges of using phony immigration documents and a false Social Security number. Although the threat against the water supplies was not mentioned in a court session yesterday, the issue was referred to the region's Joint Terrorism Task Force, the paper's report indicated...(continued on the website) http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=30898

The Reconquista movement is an arm of radical Islam and the Chinese. Their soldiers are Mexican nationals, who are firmly entrenched in American comunities and are quite expendable. This was either a kook or a trial run for something far more elaborate. I'm betting it is the latter. Could you imagine a full blown Reconquista movement in the throes of an Iraqi war? Or better yet, a North Korea air strike or Taiwan invasion? Or maybe I'm just overreacting...They are ALL here to work and make better lives for their families. Right?

America's epitaph will read: They Were A Tolerant People..."

If you were reeeeeally clever, snappingly sardonic and uberwitty, you would have just posted the pictures, instead of saying, "Should I post the pictures?" The "damage" effect was somewhat lacking, making the whole thing "slightly amusing" instead of "LOL" "ROFL" or the highly sought after "ROFLMAO".

BTW!!!!!!!!!

When I read the headline, I did NOT think of aliens as in exterrrrrterestrial. I thought of Muslims. Right off the bat.

And that, is the truth.

The guy was Mexican, but he claimed he was from an "Arabian" country. I'm trying to figure out why that is. Would it be to cover up the fact that some of our neighbors are trying sabotage us? Or did Muslims really intimidate him?

I heard that the water supply is one that is not used by many people. So original theories leaned toward a meth lab cover up. I hope that's what it is, although I know it isn't.

Wasn't there something posted about this a couple of days ago, too???? I have NOT gone out and bought my water, like I keep saying I'm going to do.....

I'm NOT feeling all warm and fuzzy about this future of ours. (short term.....LONG term is OK....I've read the Book and I know the end of the story)
