Sen Orin Hatch growing some spine!! 3 Judges at once
Fox News Special Report Brit Hume | self

Just a quick HURRAH!!!

Just heard on Special Report that Orin Hatch is pushing through 3 judges to the dislike of Chucky Schumer and Fat Teddy.

He stated: "If you don't like the rate at which it's going, you can complain. But this is the way it's going to be and I'm the chairman."

This is music to my ears. I also wonder if something I read this week about OH being considered for SCOTUS as a motivator.

The only icing on the cake would be for him to tell Senator Depends Leahy to go take a hike.

TOPICS: Government
KEYWORDS: hatch; judges; judiciary; senate

Hatch, for all his occasional lapses, does occasionally show signs of realizing they aren't playing pattycake.

Your post is fine. I heard it too, and watched some of the proceedings on a webcast. Kennedy was revolting, as usual.

I think it's a brilliant strategy. With multiple nominees it makes it more difficult for the Stalinists to pull off the usual smear campaign.

Brilliant!

What about Chuckie Schumer trying to explain what a "moderate" or person with mainstream views is? Like he'd know - yeah, right.

Don't believe it. Orrin first needs to get Ted Kennedy's permission. And some other folks might not like such assertiveness. Must be polite and get along with people you know.

Orrin Hatch has as much spine as jello that hasn't set yet.

"Putzhead is having a cow."

I'm assuming by Putzhead you mean Schumer. From what I gather in that segment on Brit's show, Schumer is attacking that one candidate based on the clients he represented. These people are really desperate aren't they?

I hope someone credible runs against that nitwit, but I have about lost hope for any conservative winning anything in the NE.

Giuliani can beat Schumer. Then Pataki can take a run at BroomHillary in '06.

That would be a great improvement, the closest to conservatives you are going to find, I guess.

'Xcuse moi...is this our Senator Hatch speaking? Can this be? Am I dreaming? This is almost too good to be true.....I LOVE IT!
