Infuriating bumper sticker

While at college today, I happened to see a bumper sticker on a faculty member's car. It read "THE ROAD TO HELL IS PAVED WITH REPUBLICANS!".
I was really mad when I read that bumper sticker. I thought, isn't this typical of liberals! If a conservative says anything like that, we are labeled haters, bigots, Jesus-freaks, self-righteous, etc.

This bumper sticker is a great example of subtle sardonicism, in that such an anti-Republican typically wouldn't believe in hell in the first place. The joke is, "In your version of the world that I don't agree with anyway, you're screwed."
Which is why the opposite, "The road to hell is paved with democrats", just wouldn't work because the democrats whom we most oppose wouldn't believe in hell in the first place.
So an analogous bumper sticker for US would have to have the same basic message-- "In your sick twisted liberal version of the world that I don't agree with anyway, you're SCREWED." I'll think on that one...

Yeah, but it's true. The road to Hell
is paved with Republicans.
But they're all yelling, "Not this way! Turn back! Turn back!"

You were just annoyed to be tied up in traffic behind a 1963 Volvo 544 with the muffler held on by a coat hanger.

"THE ROAD TO HELL IS PAVED WITH REPUBLICANS!". How about this one in response:
The Road To Hell Is Paved With Aborted Democrats

There's always the RUN HILLARY RUN bumper sticker.
Democrats put it on their rear bumper. Republicans put it on their front bumper.

Back in '93, I remember my first day of college: I had three instructors get up on the first day and say what a wonderful president that Bill Clinton was going to be. Mind you, none of these classes were political courses. One even said something to the effect that she saw the "Don't blame me, I voted for Bush" bumper stickers and thought that it was time to "get over it." Mind you, this advice coming from Nixon and Reagan haters.

Reminds me of one that I saw that says "I'm too poor to vote Republican"...which a few days later (the car was apparently abandoned, it had sat for a long time) was edited by someone to "I'm too poor to vote Republican, thanks to the Democrats tax hikes"
The car, and edited sticker, have sat there for months now...

If a conservative says anything like that . . . He'd get keyed.

Order one of these
and stick it over the offensive bumpersticker.

I remember when the left was trying to get Jesse Jackson to run for president.
People were puting RUN JESSE RUN on there bumpers only they were on there front bumpers LOL
To: Paul Atreides
Shouldn't that be "The Road to Hell is Paved
By Republicans" ?
Otherwise it seems to have "over my dead body" implications.

LOl, I am a law abiding citizen. But, in this case, I would do it in a minute. If you are being series, you are no better than "them".
Unless of course you believe that freedom of speech only applies to those who voted for Bush.
If "conservatives" adopt the same tactics as the left (censorship, PC) how can they claim the moral "high ground"?
