In Gaza, at the (g)old market.

Who wears the gold? Wearing gold is against the rules of Islam.

Thank you for those powerful pictures. Someone should send those horrible photos of dead Kurd children to Susan Sarandon and friends and also to A.N.S.W.E.R. Let them see the truth for once!

A little cheer and pretty faces. Kashmiri muslim dancers wait their turn in India's Republic Day parade. Note the non burkas and jewelry indigenous to the Kashmiris. Some astute observers may notice similarties between the folk dresses, costume and jewelry of Eastern European and Baltic nations. Or has it always been my imagination?

Whoops, they did it again!

If they're going to kill themsselves, anyway, this is just as good a way. What intrigues me is, if they're going to kill themselves, anyway, why do they bother searching the wreckage? To recover bomb making materials?

Another masterpiece - tnx!

"In Sulaymanyah, ~238 miles northeast of Baghdad, Iraqi Kurds protest Iraq's use of WMD agaisnt them. They remember Halabja, where Sadam already used poison gas in March 1988 to murder 4,000 souls, as is his way.

UP TO 7,000 KILLED INSTANTLY

Experts estimate that between 5,000 and 7,000 residents were killed immediately while tens of thousands more were exposed over the years by drinking contaminated water or eating contaminated food. A photograph of a man shielding an infant with his body -- both were killed by the gas -- has become an icon of Kurdish suffering and a monument here.

In Sheik Radwan, Gaza, an explosion caused by three Hamas preparing bombs.

The three Hamas turn themselves into 2.3 Humus, "as is their way". Once again, showing that bomb-making has "bad karmic repercussions".

Great job and perfect commentary.

I like Rummy. But that's not a particularly good photo of him with the almost "Sieg Heil" salute.

The DUmbers will certianly latch onto that instantly, whether I brought up the subject or not..

But thanks for the rest of the pix. Nice work.

The girl on the right reminds me of my sister, only my sister is (was) blond and fair skinned. She has the same round face and pretty eyes.

Yeah don't forget the kids

It's pretty sad isn't it? The parents are too scared to die for their own cause so they brainwash there kids and send them off to die as martyrs.

Thanks Dio.

A helicopter flies over the British helicopter carrier HMS Ocean off the coast of Cyprus January 28, 2003. A British fleet, the largest since the Falklands' War in 1982, arrived January 27 in the east Mediterranean for exercises in preparation for a possible U.S.-led strike on Iraq.

A Landing Cushion Air Craft (LCAC), a version of a hovercraft, used to transport people and vehicles to and from the mainland, is seen alongside the USS Tortuga (LSD 46) January 28, 2003 in the Gulf. The USS Tortuga a Landing Ship Dock vessel is a member of the Nassau Amphibious Ready Group (ARG).

U.S. and Afghan forces are fighting about 80 rebels in the mountains of southern Afghanistan close to the Pakistani border, in the biggest battle for nearly a year, officials said January 28, 2003. American and coalition aircraft including AC-130 gunships, seen in this undated file photo, have attacked enemy positions near a series of caves in the inaccessible mountains. A U.S. military spokesman in Bagram said at least 18 rebels loyal to renegade commander Gulbuddin Hekmatyar had been killed in what is described as the largest concentration of enemy forces since Operation Anaconda last March.
