I'm the one who said something [about Sean Hannity] and I am no disruptor
Sean Hannity's Radio Show

I just heard Sean complain that he is getting attacked by FReepers and implied that it is affecting his support of the site.
I havent seen any attacks on Sean but I did post my opinion that Sean was gonna hang himself with the Trent Lott issue.
And in the end...I was correct.
Lott is gone...like he should be...I like Sean but he got out ahead of the curve on the Lott issue and found himself basically alone.
We all know what was behind the Lott assault and the bias of the Liberal media and the hypocrisy of the Democrats on racial issues but Sean's case appeared to be full fledged support for Trent Lott. Something which most Conservatives did not do...with or without the Thurmond remarks.
Dont whine Sean...next time be on the correct side of the issue.

The fact is he is no Ann Culter or Rush. What a break for him.

Ciao Bella toots!!!!
I think Seans latest rant about Freepers attacking him might have something to do with the DC Rally this weekend.
I read on one of the threads from the event, that a Freeper had tried to call into his show a few times to ask Sean to announce the "Rally" but the screeners would not put the Freeper through...then someone called into Sean yesterday and made a few comments ,,and yada yada yada...
I am not big Hannity Fan..I think he "Reads" off of his script too much...jumbles his thoughts and rants on...
But I do have to say I loved his "Ostrich Brigade" comments this afternoon.
He should care as much about what Freepers think of him, and I care about what he thinks of me....and that ain't much.

I'm really enjoying listening to Sean. We have been getting him locally and I hope they keep him. Guess it's time for another call to the station :-).

WFB was, in his heyday, an important voice in the wildreness. His defense of Whitaker Chambers and his stinging denunciation of the Soviet Union during the dark days of the Cold War are to be commended. In addition, men like WFB and Russell Kirk were instrumental in laying the foundations for the emergence of Thatcher and Reagan and turning the GOP in a more distinctly conservative direction.
I remember so well how he would dismantle liberal like John Kenneth Galbraith and Germaine Greer. He showed a whole generation that a conservative could intellectually challenge liberals and win. As a result, he made conservative talk radio possible.
I doubt that WFB's approach would prevail in the light of today's media. However, his stinging rebukes of feminism, secularism, and communism were important contributions and should never be forgotten.

Yeah...I heard him...but I am unaware of anyone atacking him here recently I 'attacked' his handling of Queen Arianna and the SUV issue. He was entirely too kid gloves with her. But that was not an ideological critique, merely an operational one. Walter Williams would have had her head. But Sean's not an economist...
To counter - he really handed it to that Pinko something or other marxist chick that was on yesterday. The fruitloops camped out at the White House. I'm sure her ass still stings from his boot mark....
Hannity tends to be a bit too much of a mouthpiece for the Republicans. And not critical enough of them. But it's not like there are any at CNNBCBSABCNYTIMES, so I guess it balances out.
But this latest bit about leftists not even being 'allowed' to be against the war is quite wrong. Freedom of Speech, of course.
(If leftists stopped being wrong, we'd have nothing to do.)
And,no this war isn't about liberty. Because if it WAS - then after it was over, we would not have 50% of our incomes taken in taxation, and we wouldn't be spending Trillions each year on welfare. If the war was for liberty, then we'd GET liberty as a spoil of war.
Now, if you want to start building the American Empire, eliminate taxation and regulation on Citizens, and make it illegal to chain one of us (like in Rome) - and use the spoils of war to fund Government - then maybe we can talk.

I agree with Hannity. Lott got screwed. If Lott had been a Democrat, it would have been ignored.

I lost all respect for Hannity back in Nov., he was blasting a lady from Seattle because she said the economy was in bad shape, and he said it was in the best shape ever. This lady was not an accomplished speaker, and he was pretty rough on her. Not even an hour later, Peggy Noonan said the economy was in rough shape, and he didn't say anything. The lady from Seattle also said that the unemployment was high in Seattle, and he just about called her a liar, that evening the local newspaper had an article on how high the unemployment rate was getting. Even the pres was talking about the bumpy economy! I rarely listen to him because he keeps saying the same thing over and over. He either twists things around, or just doesn't answer the hard questions, when he lets someone question him. This is just the radio, I never watch him on tv. I don't need 2 people yelling in my living room at nite.

LOL...
...very cute.
Apparently there have indeed been alot of other complaints about Sean.
Anyway...
I like him fine enough. He does seem to be a kind of Rush light...he is usually on point with issues but he doesnt really drill down into them. He seems to think that he has got to get alot of guests on his radio show [and therefore be nice to them].
Rush doesnt bring alot of those goofballs on so he doesnt care about taking it easy on them or not. He tells the truth...and if it offends....tough. Sean doesnt want to offend alot of people. That's okay, it is his personality.
He is more of an ADD Sanguine/Phlegmatic as opposed to a Sanguine/choleric ala Rush.
I appreciate Sean...but sometimes he is a bit too down with the entertainment side of radio as opposed to information.
