I read about this organization in yesterday's NY Times, and was happy to see that you attended the weekend's protests in DC to voice your opinion. Do you have a similar counter-protest planned for NYC? I beleive that ANSWER is planning something next month. Keep up the great work.

Welcome to Free Republic. According to their website they were supposed to Rally in NYC last week supposedly on the 15th. As far as I know it didn't happen and if it did it wasn't in the news and we New Yorkers ignored it and couldn't have cared less. Apparently they think their rallies in Washington had an impact on Americans but it didn't.

can someone PUH-LEEEEZE organize a "Let's Not Be Stupid" rally and help those of us with some clarity of mind educate others to look at things as they ARE and not just simply fantasize about how we WISH they were?

Thanks. I'll stay tuned, and I'll be there because I can't take it anymore. These pro-Saddam marchers represent the absolute worst America has to offer, and they need to be challenged. Sitting in my living room watching C-Span with a sick feeling in my stomach won't cut-it anymore.

289 Million Americans Avoid Peace Rallies
(2003-01-19) -- Police across the nation estimate the crowd that avoided yesterday's anti-war demonstrations at about 289 million. Americans from coast-to-coast voted in absentia against criticizing the Bush administration for Iraq's failure to comply with U.N. resolutions.

Anti-anti-war demonstrators gathered in grocery stores, shopping malls and private homes to proclaim their disagreement with protestors marching in the streets of Washington D.C. and San Francisco.

"Going about my regular Saturday routine is my way of saying I disagree with the radical left-wing agenda of the anti-Bush crowd," said college student Melanie Sampson, who spent the day preparing a term paper for a literature course.

Police reported no unusual problems with the droves that stayed away from the protests.

"It was a normal Saturday in America," said one Sheriff's deputy.

Got this off another thread.. I love it.

Oh come on--Sheryl Crow sums it up best. If you don't want war than don't have enemies--you can't get anymore commonsense and basic than that--ha,ha.

Powell has the ANSWER. They need Accounting Standards Board.

So why do we want to bomb Iraq?

Is it inspections? Oh No No No
Iraq won't let us inspect - let's bomb them
Iraq will let us inspect - let's bomb them.

Is it nuclear bombs? Oh No No No
Ms Rice says it's the mushroom cloud, let's bomb them
Kristol says they don't have the bomb, let's bomb them

Is it a civilization war? Oh No No No
bin Laden and Sharon say it is.
Bush says Islam is religious of peace.

Is it for oil? Oh No No No
Exxon, Texaco and Shell say no
Only left wingers say so

Is it for Israel? Oh No No No
Perle, Adelman and Wolfowitz tell the world no
Only the anti-Semities say so

So are we being flim-flamed? Oh No No No
Powell has the answer, it's Iraq's paperwork.

Let's Bomb Enron too.

Hey - that's good stuff! You should apply for the Poet - Laureat job in NJ. Two suggestions though; 1. Try to be more anti-semitic, 2. Come up with different conspiracy theories (the blood for oil angle is a bit played). Good luck!

Mighty, please check with KLT: I think there were be a counterprotest in NYC on February 15th. The Communists are going to be protesting on your city that day. Consider joining us! It's perfectly safe -- we take great care not to take risks -- and the people are loyal, normal Patriotic Americans.
