Clinton talks on the global economy at N.Y.U.
Former President Bill Clinton called on an audience of students to prepare for a future when America will no longer be "the biggest dog on the street" at the keynote address Tuesday of a New York University forum on globalization.
The current globalized world is not sustainable economically, politically or from a security vantage point, Clinton said at the second annual conference co-sponsored by New York University and the William J. Clinton Presidential Foundation. Clinton spoke to an audience of about 450 students and guests.
"On Sept. 11, 2001, members of Al Quaeda used the forces of globalization - open borders, easy immigration, easy travel, easy access to information technology - to kill 3,100 people from 70 countries in three cities in the U.S.," Clinton said.
There are ways to improve our security without sacrificing civil liberties, Clinton stressed. For starters, our government needs to start using the same kinds of tracking systems employed by direct marketers and credit card companies, he said.
With such technology the government in a short period of time can track people who have multiple addresses on file, such as Sept. 11 ringleader Mohammed Atta, who had 12 addresses registered in the U.S, Clinton said. The government could also monitor people who have accrued a lot of credit card debt, he added, giving the example of the Sept. 11 terrorist who racked up $260,000 of debt on 30 credit cards.
Profiling people according to their movements or debt is much preferable than "profiling people because of their religion or ethnic heritage or whatever else," Clinton said, adding that people with such extreme habits were "either rich or up to no good."
The former president also touched on topics including the nuclear crisis in North Korea, economic initiatives in Africa, the Kyoto protocol on global warming and primary education in Mexico and Brazil. He said that the U.S. must help create a global society with "shared benefits, shared responsibility and shared values."
Clinton acknowledged that, "this is not the sexiest subject on the block." But he tried his best to add some flair with the analogy, "If none of us ever joined anything unless we got our way all the time, nobody would get married."
Students had high marks for the former chief executive.
"He throws out a lot of different tidbits of information about different countries," said Hiss an Baja, a 22-year-old first-year law student from California, adding, "The reason I came to N.Y.U. Law is because it's known as the global law school."
The day featured three panels on important topics in the globalization debate. Panelists included Robert Rubin, former secretary of the Treasury; Sandy Berger, former National Security Advisor to President Clinton; and George Soros, the investor and philanthropist. Moderators included Bernard Shaw, C.N.N.'s former anchor; and Karen DeYoung, associate editor at the Washington Post.

OK, if it's our support for Isreal that is causing the Islam-o-fashists to attack us, how do you explain "religion of peace" attacks on Christian shrines in the Philipines, 1000 yr old Bhuddist shrines in Kashmire, the shooting up of a catholic mass in India... and the list continues. None of these countries support Isreal do they? You think MAYBE followers of the "religion of peace" have NO tolerence for those who don't worship their moon-god allah?
You'd evidently have plenty of cohorts agreeing with you hereon. I know of none of them who have convincingly degraded the quality of the witness--The PhD lady is verifiable as being Von Braun's aid in the closing years of his life and as being dead serious in her going on record to Congress etc. She's also as qualified as claimed. Check her out yourself.
There were no terrorists (other than the IRA) back when he was alive in the 60s.
That's part of the point. That the puppetmasters had planned to rachet up the terrorist threat sufficiently to manipulate world opinion and at least USA efforts against them on a global scale as one of the stages toward a global government. Von Braun knew things along this line even he was afraid to tell his PhD assistant.
But he did assert that the stepwise plans as early as the 1970's were as outlined--ending in claims that we had to build space based weapons to deal with the evil ET's--which Von Braun insisted was not true. I'm not so sure he knew accurately about their evil-ness or not.
The Cooper quote is fiction.
I'm not absolutely positive what to do with Cooper. Having studied the subject of UFO's since Jr High; having read a number of things on the Cooper issue; having a brother who saw UFO's daily in his work near area 51--my own conviction at the moment is that Cooper tries to play both sides of the fence. When he suspects there's some threat to his pension, he denies. When he thinks he can get away with more of the truth, he owns his convictions. But I haven't talked to him personally.
Given Greer's resourcefulness and evident integrity, I also tend to believe Greer about Cooper.
The other stuff about UFOs are a pastiche of real and unreal conspiracy factoids. US replicas of UFOs are a fantasy.
I disagree that the DISCLOSURE SITE is a cobbled together collection of truths, half-truths and lies EXCEPT AS the powers that be behind the scenes have staged witnesses to furnish such accordingly. And how we can know which is which among that remains to be seen, certainly.
However, I have searched out a number of the named witnesses Greer puts forward. Their references check out. Given my own decades of study and the reports of people known to me as well as my brother--they are exceedingly convincing as earnest reliable witnesses.
I'm just not sure that what they have witnessed, seen, been a part of HAS BEEN IN ALL RESPECTS, ALL CASES, ALL FACTORS what they perceived it to be at the time. I think deception and disinformation riddles the whole field.
Nevertheless, I'm convinced that there are real ET's. I'm convinced that we have built our own fleet of bouncer type UFO's (the type my brother saw on a more or less daily basis in his highly classified work) probably from both back engineering as well as overt help from one or more races of ET's.
The energy stuff is just pure '100 mpg carburator' stuff.
My main convictions about this stem from my years filtering info as a reference librarian in functional charge of the university Special Collections Library at NAU over a 3.5 year period. I dealt with extreme left-wing all the way through to extreme right wing stuff. I was initially wholesale skeptical of 99% of it. My boss cautioned me that such extreme, fringe materials most accurately and earliest described Hitler and what he would do.
True enough, those fringe materials were exceedingly accurate about the following 35 years of USA and geopolitical history since.
Being that kind of librarian, one learns almost instinctively SOME subtle nuance, intuitive sorts of clues about when information is likely to be more authentic vs likely to be more horse biscuits. No, it's not fool proof. But it's a lot better than flipping a coin--a LOT better.
And, MANY of these issues have been on a clear graph for the last 35 years. There's been a progression of both quantity and quality of disclosures or leaks or whatever sort of revelation one wants to talk about in terms of such information. These graphs have all had an increasingly vertical curve sort of progression. And the logical end points to these curves must be in our lifetimes. I'm 55.
At this point, I'm convinced that there are at least 2 and likely 4-5 DIFFERENT sources/methods for providing power, electrical energy etc. which are essentially free except for the raw materials and manufacturing of the equipment to extract the power. I don't really have any doubt about that any more. I realize you, Poohbah and a list of others hereon think this is all looney toons. We shall see. I don't think the time to wait for much broader and deeper proof is all that long. I'd guess less than 12 years and possibly less than 6. It could easily be as short as 1-3 years. But, hey, hold on to your skepticism. It's days are numbered.
And btw, Asteroids ARE, and always have been, a real threat to homo sapiens. Remember what happened to the dinosaurs? Mankind has been around this planet, in some form, only at best, several million years. We are and have been living on an unprotected planet which is just a punching bag for stray asteroids. It is only a matter of time, statistically before the planetary Russian Roulette wheel spins adversely against us. Simple prudence dictates a reasonable insurance policy.
NO ARGUMENT THERE FROM ME. But that doesn't necessarily change the politics all that much unless there's a groundswell at least in the scientific community, if not the culture at large demanding such a change.
The facts may have little to nothing to do with the issue being used as a means to manipulate the world populace toward a given goal of the puppet masters. The manipulation just needs to be plausible ENOUGH for ENOUGH people. That the threat is real would only work to their purposes, it seems to me.
Regardless of whether the space based weapons are being increasingly advocated [I'm convinced a number of them have already been in place a long time], to deal with ET's; whether ET's will overtly end up in cahoots with the global government or whatever combination of related scenarios eventually becomes the case . . . I believe the space based weapons will ultimately be used of the globalists to coerce nations and probably cities and maybe neighborhoods into compliance with their tyrannical agenda.
Von Braun may have been convinced it was all a hoax in terms of the ET's being evil. I'm not sure the ET's are all wonderful by any means. And I'm 100% convinced the globalists are evil through and through. Every advantage they gain will end up destructive to the man in the street and particularly conservatives and especially to Christians.
That much is logical just considereing the Biblical prophetic outline and daily news headlines. IMHO.

I have arrived at my current convictions after many thousands of pages of reading. My impression is that you scanned very lightly a minority of the Disclosure site documents. I'd encourage you a more extensive examination. Check out the higher ranking military and scientific sources. Check out their publications. Check out their different career positions.
There's somewhat of a range. But there's more than a few of the highest quality qualifications and the highest ranks of positions in black projects etc.

But the definitive replacement for internal combustion energy systems sits locked away in illegal and unconstitutional 'black projects'. As Ben Rich, Head of Lockheed Skunkworks said before he died, it would take an Act of God to get these wondrous new technologies out to benefit the world. But perhaps many people, like you, working together, can be that Act of God to get the truth out to the world and establish a new way of living peacefully on the earth.
So, do you have conclusive or even convincing evidence that Ben Rich was never head of Lockheed Skunworks or that he never said such a thing?
From where I sit, the source is convincing and his statement is convincing and Greer is but an honorable channel of such information.
Why? Because they do not exist. Consider these words of Sen. Inouye: "There exists a shadowy Government with its own Air Force, its own Navy, its own fundraising mechanism, and the ability to pursue its own ideas of the national interest, free from all checks and balances, and free from the law itself."
I happen to believe him, in this case.
Beyond this, in 1994 Dick D'Amato, then senior counsel to the Senate Appropriations Committee, told me personally that with a subpoena power and a top secret clearance, he could not penetrate such rogue projects - and that somewhere between $40 billion and $80 billion per year were going into such unsupervised operations. And that was in 1994 dollars! In the zero sum game of government budgets, this means today upwards of $100 billion per year is being siphoned off into operations of dubious value, which do not benefit - and may erode - our national security.

CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS VALIDATE MILITARY AND PRESIDENTIAL INVOLVEMENT WITH UFOs

The Majestic documents investigation team has just released three leaked classified UFO documents. Actually, there are two one-page memorandums to President Truman and a memo from General Hoyt Vandenberg along with supporting authentication material. From Record Group 353, Entry 411-413, Box 96, Interdepartmental committees, comes a revealing memo concerning the Intelligence Advisory Board. The Central Intelligence Group (CIG) had an Intelligence Advisory Board, which held its 14th meeting on Thursday, July 17, 1947. The agenda memo shows one blacked-out agenda item, number three, and none of the associated tabs are yet declassified. This would have been the first official meeting of the IAB after the reported July 1947 crashes of UFOs in New Mexico, and logically the event(s) would likely have been discussed. This document does not preclude that conclusion, and the question remains open: Why is this material classified to this day – more than half a century later?

Found at the National Archives in Record Group 341 by several researchers, at least a decade ago, this three-page memo is an unequivocal statement from a senior Air Force general supporting the reality of Flying Discs with remarkable and unexplained characteristics. General Twining, head of the Air Materiel Command (AMC), plainly states: "The phenomenon reported is something real and not visionary or fictitious." Note that this is a Secret memo and deals with the sighting and other data alone. The opinion does clearly refer to "the lack of physical evidence in the shape of crash recovered exhibits which would undeniably prove the existence of the objects." Is this in conflict with the other memos that support crash retrievals? No, it is not. This is a Secret memo and could be an effective cover story if leaked to Soviet Intelligence. For those who have security clearances this is garden-variety compartmentalization. Although the memo was signed by Twining it was coordinated with a number of others at AMC! : Col. Moore - Chief of the Aircraft Laboratory; D.A. Dicky - Chief of the Propeller Laboratory; General D.L. Putt - Engineering Division; Col. Minty - Chief Power Plant Laboratory; and General Bevtual of T-3 (one of the AMC technical intelligence units). Furthermore, Twining – who is elsewhere clearly cited in Majestic documents as knowledgeable of the UFO retrievals – reports in this Secret memo the conclusions of this group, not his own. He does not say "It is my opinion" nor "I have concluded," etc. ... but uses the anonymous voice: "It is the opinion that ...” In effect, the matter is so tightly protected that this AMC group conducting "prosaic" intelligence work would not have been provided the fullest extent of the evidence. The memo reports only what this group concluded based upon what they were told. This group, even in its own terms, must have seen a weight of evidence that was so compelling they were willing to come to such startling official conclusions.
Why would Twining publish such a memo? Since Twining would have known the reality of these objects and the fact that they do, sometimes appear to unexpected observers, he and other authorities “in the know” would have wanted to say something to air commanders around the world and give them some serious guidance. And interest would have been stirred among air officers by the reports and rumors circulating from the Roswell event(s). Note the timing. If between July 1947 and the memo date of September 1947, such a weighty conference-based opinion had been formulated, it stands to reason that there must have already been a substantial body of previous material in hand, not just that collected in two months.
By putting this as an OFFICIAL intelligence-collection matter in September `47 just weeks after the initial Roswell news release by base commander Col. Blanchard to the papers and radio, it would have made very clear that the “witting” authorities could not afford another commander making a public pronouncement out of naive belief that the matter should not be confined to controlled channels. In fact, that is the exact conclusion of the memo: "Awaiting a specific directive ... for transmittal thru channels." That is, in the wake of the initial public flurry, which was squelched, air commanders whose own interest would still be piqued are put on notice that they should not treat the matter lightly and should see it as a classified intelligence matter.
The net result of this memo is that the government has confirmed the validity of the phenomenon and later goes on to establish programs Sign, Grudge, and Bluebook on the Secret level while at the same time developing a Top Secret Majestic Intelligence program to deal with the super-sensitive aspects of dead ET bodies and crash wreckage analysis. After all, you can't say, "If you see a UFO land and people get out to inspect your garden, please call the most-super-secret MJ-12." Instead, even for Air Force commanders themselves, there had to be a data collection process created: thus, this memo giving the matter credibility so that commanders knew they were violating secrecy if they said anything outside "channels."
If that is not the case, then why has the evidence reviewed by this group not been released? Since the government asserts that there is nothing to the so-called UFO phenomenon, why hasn't the Air Force declassified and released the entire body of evidence that led its most senior technical intelligence officers to reach precisely the opposite conclusion? Would these sober-minded experts in aeronautical technology have risked their reputations to come to such an unorthodox conclusion if the body of evidence, even without seeing "hardware," were not so compelling? What was that evidence? The military now claims there is nothing to the matter. It is a half-century later. Surely, if the Air Force were correct, there would be no harm in releasing all this information for the sake of history and to lay the matter to rest. Scholars, journalists and active citizens would readily ask these reasonable questions in any other field.

Overall, it is straightforward science of the time, but focus on extraterrestrial life with such a sophisticated team of people including Carl Sagan is fascinating.

This Top Secret UMBRA document, specifically Civil Action lawsuit No. 80-1562, Citizens Against UFO Secrecy (CAUS) versus the National Security Agency (NSA), clearly confirms deep and widespread government involvement with UFOs. This document was released and declassified as a result of a FOIA process and shows numerous blackout areas related to COMINT (communications intelligence) and SIGINT (signals intelligence). This in-camera affidavit for Judge Eugene F. Yeates is simply a justification by the National Security Agency (NSA) to withhold the information that CAUS was seeking. Would it be some internal NSA or related military unit – or the National Reconnaissance Organization (NRO) -- or could it be even more “black”: the modern version of Majestic 12? At a minimum such documents belie the government claiim that UFOs do not constitute a matter of interest to national security.
Along with these documents from archives and the numbers of others posted at the Majestic investigation team’s web site, there are posted leaked Majestic documents that have never before appeared in public.

Marshall writes a memo to the President concerning the “Presentation of Report to the President Re; ULAT" dated September 24, 1947 that expresses concern about the timing of the internal release of this report. "It would be better to discuss the report during the meeting (National Security Council). This would give the members a better picture of the situation rather than having it released piecemeal." Marshall goes on to say, "I further suggest that Twining present the findings of the Majestic-12 briefing to be given be the Director of Central Intelligence with a detailed showing of visual as well as written materials." File references, format, and signatures suggest authenticity.

General Nathan Twining writes to the President on 26 September 1947 and respectfully submits his report on Flying Saucers. This is "In accordance with your instructions, advisors from State, Treasury, War, and Navy departments assisted me in a two month exploratory mission concerning the reality of other-world visitation." The memo is impressive for its authentic looking pentagon Joint Chiefs of Staff and Combined Chiefs of Staff filing references along with clear older sized paper markings.

This memo from Vandenberg to the Army Chief of Staff does not clearly relate to UFOs. However, it is clear that the decision process at White Sands and Alamogordo was in turmoil and that clarification was needed. Possibly as a result of the UFO wreckage being stored there and different access requests and priorities. The addition of a senior Army Ordnance Officer being permanently assigned to work with the joint committee for range coordination was the resolution to improve local decision making. What could be so important that would involve top generals to clarify decision-making? The leaked version (page 1), is nearly identical to a document we found at the National Archives, RG 341, Entry 174, Box 141 (page 2), showing the same language in Paragraph 1 but an additional clarifying paragraph has been added which states: "This agreement concerns only decisions on joint range problems and does not extend into command and administration matters at Alamogordo Air Base." It is possible that either Vandenberg or the Army Chief of Staff upon seeing or reviewing the first memo might say "we need to clarify this so that no one misconstrues our intent and screws up the basic functions of Alamogordo Air Base."
The Majestic team continues to examine these leaked materials with investigative and forensic rigor and has not yet encountered a body of public documents that refutes their extraordinary story. IT'S LONG BEEN ILLOGICAL THAT THE GOVERNMENT COULD LOGICALLY CLAIM BOTH SIDES OF THE FENCE. Corporate Manager of Fairchild Industries, Spokesperson for Wernher Von Braun, Dr. Carol Rosin Von Braun [rocket science pioneer] told me [in 1974] the reasons for space-based weaponry were all based on a lie. He said the strategy was that first the Russians, then the terrorists are going to be considered the enemy. The next enemy was asteroids. "The last card is the alien card, and all of it is a lie."….I was at a meeting in Fairchild Industries in the War Room. The conversation [was] about how they were going to antagonize these enemies, and there was going to be a Gulf War. Now this is 1977! -- pp. 255 - 259.
1) Would you really believe that Dr Rosin was never head of Fairchild? Check it out.
2) Would you believe she's a bald faced liar? Not consistent with her personality & character as revealed in her wording etc.
3) Would you believe her science credentials are bogus? Check them out.
4) Would you believe she didn't have the claimed association with Dr von Braun? Check it out.
5) Would you believe a dying von Braun would not be so candid with a qualified, careful, articulate, trusted scientific professional? Not so logical.
6) She's reporting from two different sources. (A) von Braun and (B) a meeting of such lofty, arrogant leaders of black projects discussing such planned threats 3 years later with her as part of the group. You assert that in spite of all the evidence about her personality, character and qualifications that she's a liar. Not logical, to me.

Von Braun had a history of working with weapons systems. He escaped from Germany to come to this country and became a Vice President of Fairchild Industries when I had met him. When Werner Von Braun was dying of cancer, he asked me to be his spokesperson, to appear on occasions when he was too ill to speak. I did this.

I believe her.
But I think she hasn't thought of or might not believe--God is going to use it all to show the futility of solutions apart from Him. He's not about to allow man to perfect himself--as if it were possible. He's going to make abundantly clear the perversity of the human heart--at the highest and lowest levels. He's been giving mankind plenty of rope to hang ourselves on mankind's own evil hearts determined to be fiercely independent from Him.

Does this honestly sound like a lying flake?
Would she dare lie about such things in such a book? Would Greer dare publish something not true in a book and project the major purpose of which is to INCREASE CREDIBILITY to the point of the whole world paying attention above the dark project deceptions and spin masters?
Doesn't fit my logic.
