I'd love to see this nomination skate through the Senate, with confirmation by February.

Good, dammit. It shows that Bush has some balls and will stamd up to the dims and up for what he believes.

It is nice to see a President with cojones and integrity.

President Bush...you've more courage in your little finger than I have in my whole being.
Well done!

Good, I was hoping for this. Be prepared for a whole lot of filibustering going on in the Senate these next couple of years though.

Now just a minute. Wasn't it just last week that the permanent nay sayers who claim to be conservatives were saying that President Bush would not submit Judge Pickering for this years congress because President was balless or something like that.

Pickering has the support of the blacks in his city. I can see the President gathering them all up in D.C. and holding a press conference. I love this President - he has steel ones.

Be prepared for a whole lot of filibustering going on in the Senate these next couple of years though. Yep; lots of that going to be happening.

You know how you beat a filibuster- you sit there and wait for the old guy to collapse... This is a culture war, and our Senators need to DO THEIR JOBS.

This is more than excellant - this is awesome!
Rush said the other day to the Republicans - why bother winning if you're just going to wimp out!!
Hmmmm? Maybe GW decided to go for it!! (but I'm sure GW was not waiting for Rush to tell him what to do).
