This is fun. Sadaam is converting to Judaism and moving to New York. Mayor Mike gets tax revenue on the palaces, Sadaam gets a seat on the board of Citibank, and Joe Lieberman stops lying to his constituents.

He will announce that some "dishonest" person in his government left OFF the locations of some weapons of mass destruction. He will then lead the investigators to them.

Everything will then be on the up-and-up between him and the US. He is waiting to see if Bush is re-elected. (He knows the Dem's are soft.) If Bush is re-elected, he will clandestinely begin his expansionist program in Bush's final 1.5 years of office.

How's that for an "educated" guess?

I've also heard many defectors on Fox say that the Iraqi people are praying for the United States to not only start the war, but seriously finish it this time.

I saw an interview with an Iraqi Air Force pilot on Fox who got out of the country when he had a chance. He's part of the INC now and wants to fight with the US in the liberation.

That's a very interesting take. How would you like to be the poor sap who would be chosen? I'll bet it could even be Kenny from South Park.

Tomorrow Saddam will announce a new joint book deal, with Pat Buchanan and Harry Browne.

He will say they intend to tell the real truth, about recent world history.

The book will include excepts from Scott Ritter, Col. David Hackworth, former Pres. Jimmah Cahter, and others.

Maybe he's announcing what the Tehran Times hinted at last week: Putin agrees to take in Saddam (where we wouldn't touch him, and he can enjoy the multi-billions he's "skimmed" from Iraq'a coffers) in exchange for a small percentage of oil reserves (and a pipeline?). The US is left looking inept (and has spent billions already), Saddam's regime is left mostly intact, Russia is the new (and effective) Middle-East broker and world-politics player (restoring much-needed national pride), Putin gets the next Peace Prize, and the liberals here rejoice as "GWB loses the war!" (yeah, I know, but what does truth matter to liberals?). Peaceniks rejoice, and even the most hawkish conservatives have to admit that keeping our troops out of war when possible is nearly always a prefereable result. Unfortunately, it sucks for the political Right, and comes just before the new Republican Congress gets rolling. =^/

Text of speech tomorrow:

Iraqi citizens. Allah be praised. Many of you know about the agression the United States is imposing on our homeland. Allah willing, we will fight these imperial dogs and send them to Allah for just punishment. It is your humble leaders view, however, that there is a certain malaise gripping our citizens. We were victorious in battle against the Iranians and the allied forces in 1991, and we shall be victorious again.

I will be observing your brave and heroic struggle for our country's existence from an undisclosed location to ensure continuity of government. Do not worry about me. I will occupy my time with DVDs showing the torture of our enemies and Iraqi whores, Allah willing.

Allah be praised!

Interesting scenario, but I don't think simply handing the country over to his son or one of his other henchmen would constitute "regime change."

I think it's going to be the same old same old. Dictators give speeches all the time. If there's one thing they love, it's the sound of their own voices. He'll just rail against the US for a bit and then retire to his bunker.

All I'm saying is that if anyone thinks Sadam is going to announce his resignation in his upcoming speach they are dreaming. Of course there are Iraqi's who want him out of there but there are those that support him as well. Don't forget, he still thinks of himself as a savior of the arab world and will probably die to prove it.
