I'm searching for the artist of this modern Gadsen Flag to possibly use as cover art on my novel.
If anyone can point me toward the creator of this terrific work I'd really be grateful.

From what you've shared of your novel, this looks like a great frontpiece! Oh, and bump.

I'd like to know where we can get T-shirts and flags with this image.

I seem to recall it might have been a freeper named drZ who posted it on FR first, but my memory is hazy.
For sure I can't use it without permission without inviting beaucoups legal trouble.

With a cover like that -- you're going to give the little pinch faced, tight assed feminazis running the Mall Book Stores a cardiac...
Your books will get piled under the coat rack in the employee's rest room.
Be Stealthy, and move in serpentine manner!

I'm not planning on selling many books through the mall bookstores run by pierced faced fans of Sean Penn and Susan Sarandan, so I am going full bore at my target audience, and will sell where they go: the internet, Paladin Press, Shotgun News, gun stores, gun shows etc.
If it becomes a hit and a conventional old line publisher wants to buy me out for big bucks, they can choose their cover art.

Thanks much for digging up that old thread! Freeper drZ did respond and post it when I asked him if he had that flag, but he didn't specifically say if he created it. The old thread is locked, so I can't bump it or ping it.
If anybody knows drZ, who probably lives in Germantown Maryland, and may be a member of the TRT, give me a shout.
To: Travis McGee
Don't know DrZ but I can at least bump your thread.
Did you ping the Bang list? Might be the best place to start.

Try to get it published on e-book. I have one of those and am always looking for good reading material. Some of the mainstream authors are beginning to publish their works on e-book. Just read the new book by James Lee Burke and have 2 Tony Hillerman waiting to be read. Good luck.

"...on my novel."Do fellow freepers who order right away get their copy autographed for free?
To: Travis McGee
What if you run a 'google search' for 'Gadsen flag'? It might show up there. PLUS at the top of that search page are 'tabs' that say things like 'images'...'groups'...'directory'...'web'. If they have an image of the flag, you can do the 'right' click and see what's listed under the properties. Might give ya a web addy to follow up on.
Just a suggestion.
