Californians. Who needs them? I hear the San Jose city council is communist and the Berkeley city council is socialist. Plus, you have a neo-fascist limp wrist for governor who fully intends to run for president. Please, move to Canada.

California is a scary place. Oakland is the home of Congress"woman" Barbara Lee. Figures.

Since when did the Oakland City Council give a damn about "individual civil rights"? They pick and choose WHICH amendments in the Bill of Rights which they will support. Case in point: there is ONE California CCW issued to a resident of Oakland, a city of nearly a half million - The Mayor, Jerry Brown's bodyguard. Everybody else is subject to the whim of the local criminal class, which is legion in that racist city.

Step #1 in opposing the Patriot Act, or any other nonsensical piece of legislation.....Send back all the cash the feds feed your largesse with. Accept the boss-man's money and you accept his rules.

This action by a city is what is called pissing into the wind. It will not do anything except get them dirty.
