Visit to the set of West Wing.
Gore: This is an exact replica of the Oval Office.
Gore asks to sit in chair at desk.
Gore says he never got to sit in the president's chair.
Gore wants to just stay in the West Wing set president's chair.
He stays there for hours making pretend phone calls to Putin.
He wants an actor to say to him "Mr. President, the Joint Chiefs want an answer." Gore says, "Tell them we're going in."
Gore refuses to leave the desk.
"Well, he did win the popular vote." they say.
A very pathetic insight into Al Gore.

This skit is pathetic.
To: NYC GOP Chick
It's called "filler." He's unfunny and they have to cobble together all sorts of unfunny crap to try to make him look funny and relevant. You're letting your biases get the better of you.
He's doing a good job and funnier than most non-comedic guest hosts.
If he'd have shown this personality in the campaign, 537 votes wouldn't have helped.

Gore as a professor at Hampshire College-- where a bunch of dopeheads go to school.
Gore is unfunny.
The band Phish shows up.

Was the 2000 election really a failed WWF plotline?
Or did Vince McMahon really have a plan to become the MOST POWERFUL MAN IN THE WORLD.
But why would he pretend to be Al Gore?
To: mass55th
Not only was that skit pathetic, but the entire is pre-taped tonight - this professor skit, the West Wing skit, the VP selection skip = everything is on videotape; nothing is "live." Everything is in the can already. Canned Al. Not "live" Al.

Who is he looking at? He's staring off to the side and just reading his lines....
To: eddie willers
Yeah, he's got it easy. Mostly he's been parodying himself and his reputation for stiffness, so the worse he acts, the more effective parody of himself he is.
(anyone else having problems with either multi-postings, or can't-even-get-one postings?)

Well, so far, I have to say I like the SOCOM Online commercial best...

ROFL. The funny part. WWF took shots at Gore in the last election.
Jerry Lawler "I know who I am not voting for. I'm not voting for Gore/Lieberman" and then compared them to a tag team called "Right to Censor".

Oh my gosh - I just looked at my clock, thinking this show must be over soon. But, they have a full 50 MORE MINUTES of him! Good grief! This show already seems like it was 90 minutes long. I can't believe all that taped stuff only took 40 minutes. It seemed like forever!

Gore is a very strange man. Very strange.
To: summer
I think the only taped skit was the one with him on the set of the Left Wing. Everything else was live, but with weird cameras and the like.
There won't be 50 minutes of him. Figure the News takes up 10 or 15, and Phish performs twice... 30 more minutes of wooden man tops.

No - you're wrong - almost everything else was taped. The professor skit, the VP skit; everything. They taped as much as they could with this host!
