Modern 'Inca' warriors. The world would be a better place without them.
At least the Koreans boil their dogs alive before they eat them. They don't eat them raw.

Someone forward this to PETA. Think we'll get a response?
Love to see all their sorry *sses go to Peru.
They might actually serve a purpose for once.

At least that would serve a valid medical purpose. I'd gladly sacrifice a goat so that one troop can provide emergency first aid to another with a severe wound.

This is something I would imagine in an Al-Qaeda training camp or in some God-forsaken piece of Gaza at a Hamas facility, not a government military training base in a supposedly "civilized" country.
Unbelievable. I can joke about almost anything, but not this. Not this.

There is a warning "Picture might be offensive to some." But........I just HAD to LOOK! shoot me now, please.
You hear about torture everywhere, but when it's an animal involved, I can just puke. The animals have no choice. They just are.........
Sorry Pokey. I didn't have to click on it. Just shows us how sick our world really is.

If the members of PETA were so concerned with animals they'd be lining up to the dogs' place.

It's part of the final testing for Army SF medics and others attending their school.
Goats are wounded under control, then the new medics have to save them. Wounds include gunshots, burns etc.
One final exercise is a large triage drill where the medics run onto a field of wounded goats and must determine which are "expectant" (forget him, he's a goner), "routine" or "delay" (you can wait buddy), and "immediate" (treat this one now, and he will make it).
Goats do not enjoy this test.
OTOH, I would prefer that my 19 year old son in the Army or USMC have medics and corpsmen with them who have proved themselves on living flesh and blood creatures under great stress before being tested on the battlefield. You do not want to find out in combat that your medic is going to freeze up and go catatonic when he sees horrific wounds.

Far, far far far worse things are done to human beings in Iraq every day.
Attractive women are "selected" to enjoy being raped by Saddam's sons and others. The women are raped and tortured and filmed (for future enjoyment) and even fed at the end while alive to starving dog packs in kennels, also filmed for Saddam's sons future jollies.
The horrors we will uncover in Iraq will rival Nazi Germany, and dwarf a dog killing ritual in Peru by a billion times.

This cruelty serves no purpose and whoever thought this scheme up ought to be strung up next.It would serve them right. No way to treat man's best friend.

You hear about torture everywhere, but when it's an animal involved, I can just puke. The animals have no choice. What, the people (victims of torture) do? Are you nuts, or just dumb? Really, this so called training is heinous. Torturing a dog to death is evil; but the really bad part is that they're training to treat people the same way. If it takes seeing cruel treatment of animals to show you that some people are really evil ("sick" has nothing to do with it), you're blind. You've missed the even worse treatment we bestow on each other.

Didn't a former CO at ST2 get in hot water in the early 70s over something similar?

thank goodness we no longer have to be subjected to the rantings of Tabitha Soren All you sick people worry about a few dogs when every day, women go to clinics...
To: Travis McGee
This could just as easily be accomplished using prisoners. Plenty of ragheads at Guantanamo just taking up space.

Good point. The dog is merely a training aid to teach these soldiers to coldly do this to human beings.
To: SheLion
How can you not look with a headline like that? Its like driving past a car wreck.
To: Pokey78
Wouldn't be a better test of courage if the dog wasn't tied? And if it had rabies? And they had to use their bare hands? Then maybe you could respect these bozos.
