Thanks for the bump. I was there, sending checks, for the best cause in America. Long live FR!!!!

Aybody who would put up with me is my hero. With all my rants, only had one timeout so far (deservedly so).
Time for holiday pizza money...lotsa pizzas.
Please enjoy it, Jim. I am half the man you are.

... but for those of you who are spreading the gruesome rumors of Jim Robinson ripping off the FReepers, here's the real accounting of Free Republic. WHAT?????????????
To: Jim Robinson
Mr. Robinson:
You are running the best, most influential, and the cleanest conservative forum on the Internet.
I salute you! And John (webmaster supreme).

Thank you for this post. I never knew this story. JimRob, you have guts. Thanks for the FR. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.
To: dakine; Jim Robinson
Thanks, Jim.
There's no place like FR.
To: TigersEye
Glad this is being bumped. I never saw it before. Lots of history here, making for an interesting read.
To: MonroeDNA
bttt. Thanks.
To: Victoria Delsoul
Thank you, my FRiend !
To: dakine
What was the reason for Drudge removing the FR link on his site? Wasn't there some kind of disagreement about something?

It's a great read! The story of a real American through and through. Free Republic rocks!
To: anymouse; All
It
IS good to be reminded of these things!
It has, in fact, reminded me of a 'family member' whose Christmas gift I'd almost forgotten. I'm ashamed of myself, as I probably spend more time with Free Republic than I do with my
blood relatives!
MERRY CHRISTMAS FREE REPUBLIC!

Thanks for the info. It's very much appreciated.

Merry Christmas to you and your family, Dave!
When members of my family ask what I'd like for Christmas, I'm asking them to make a donation to Free Republic. I don't need any more stuff, but I do need to get my news from Free Republic.
"Even, if all of you contribute to Free Republic on a regular basis, you might want to consider an extra drop in the Free Republic Kettle! We need to keep that kettle cooking for our daily minimal political truthful knowledge nourishment."
Well said! Consider it done!

Well don't sit around waitin' for THAT to happen... But when I get a real job next year I am gonna start sending in some money. I feel bad that right now I cain't afford much more'n beer and smokes but I'll make it up to ya one a these days, because FR is one of the best messes I ever jumped into...
