I think your headline isa little misleading. Unless you have heard something else, what exactly are you claiming they are going to "boycott"? There is no mention of a "boycott" in the article. What the heck would they boycott anyway?

"Lotts statements are blatant racism at the highest order"
poorly worded, yes; inadvertantly connotated, yes; purposeful or explicitly racist, oh come on now...
I wouldn't mind Sen. Lott stepping down as Majority Leader though.

Or perhaps Sharptons 'national campaign' to oust Lott, I was thinking of a boycott on Mississippi if the GOP keeps Lott in office- isn't that what they did with the Confederate flag issue?

Sharpton is a fool. Lott is the best Republican Speaker of the Senate that the Rats have ever had.

Aren't there any pressing issues then what Lott said?
To: Blood of Tyrants
Its time for Lott to go!! Whether one likes Sharpton or not, Lott should step down.

Seems like there is nothing more important for Reverend Al than getting himself in front of the cameras in his quest to become Presdient!!

This is going to be the Democrats new (old) tactic. The Democrats are bankrupt on ideas and will use the old 'race baiting' tactic again for 2004. They saw what happened this weekend in Louisiana (Black vote strong) and they will bank on this in 2004.
I was very surprised that the Dems did not bring out any major race issues in the '02 election. In fact, I thought that would be one of the October surprises. It never happened. Brace yourself for the Democrats to divide this country more than ever.

LOL...yup, ya' gotta' hand it to the genius Trent Lott.
He could've complimented Strom on an oustanding career and his lenghty public service and that would've been that.
But no-o-o-o-o-o-o, the genius reaches all the way back to 1948 to select a stick with which he himself will now be beaten. What a dope.
All I can say is "Give `em a shot for me Reverend...give `em a shot for me".
