Tell us how crowded/not crowded it was when you went to vote!
Did you see voter fraud and what is the talk about exit polling and the possible outcome?

is your polling area republican or democratic

FNC just ran a story that turnout seemed low in New Orleans today... that's great news for Terrell...

i agree he is a typical demorat di...head!!

The conservative parishes: Jefferson, Grant, Union, Lincoln, Jackson, Webster....
Staunchly Democrat: Orleans, Avoyelles (birthplace of Edwin Washington Edwards), Jefferson Davis...
Kinda defies the Dixiecrat theory. One of the most conservative areas of Illinois is Lincoln, which has been Republican since the Republican party was founded. It became incorporated by December 1860.

Your numbers basically do back up what I had said, of course, especially in what the Neither Black nor White could do to Orleans politics if 100% of those registered will show up, and they are Turning OUT today, you heard it here first.
I do not think that the primary in November had anything like 32 or 35% of the bodies at the polls in Orleans actually being White, I think they just judged that many MUST have shown up, to yield what [few] Republican votes there were. Myself, I think a lot of those Republican votes were also cast by Blacks, which the Democrats don't want to even have us THINK about, and the whites all stayed home and snoozed that Tuesday.
Not today though.

I had the real pleasure of knowing Justin, and tipped more than a few glasses of wine one day with this unique Cajun/French culinary curmudgeon... A wonderful man, a great chef.. I know he is spinning a tale or two with at least one Freeper up there.

Very cool, thanks for the insight.

what has I been Tellin ya?
I says to ya, these blacks are tired of being taken for GRANTED by Democrats. They are staying home, and if they do turn out, they are not voting like what Dems think they all do.
They are OFF THE RESERVATION, I mean Plantation.

I agree. Senator Breaux has lowered himself considerably by so strongly supporting a loser like Senator Landrieu, who doesn't have his views on certain important issues like abortion. Zell Miller, too, lowered his stature considerably by pulling out all the stops to help a major-league loser like Max Cleland get re-elected. Thank God, it didn't work.
And I don't think it will work for Breaux, either.
Senator Breaux has actually posed a real fundamental question to his own previously strong pro-life credentials. He so desperately wants to keep Landrieu in the Senate, but that means another pro-abortion senator. I just don't understand it.

Just yesterday I refered to Edwards as being like every arrogant self-absorbed Southern fratboy I ever knew. And I know whereof I speak....I was one myself!
To: crystalk
That's GREAT news!!! I can't wait to hear the whining begin when the Republicans get a two seat advantage in committees in the new session year...

To: opocno
"Being pro-life might be a problem in Virginia"You've got that right. In the 9th district VA, they can't blast that pro-baby-killer Congressman Rick Boucher out of there with explosives. They love their late-term-partial-birth-abortionist Boucher. He claimed to have brought in all the businesses and companies into Southwest VA that are there single-handedly himself.
As for Senators, both Allen and Warner are pro-abortion and pro-fetal-stem-cell research. Well, I guess they are the lesser of the other evil, but only by a slim margin.

fox news keep flashing things like Laundrieu has 75% black vote. Laundriex has 31% white vote..etc. listed as fox facts. are those current from exit polls or previous stuff. anyone know?

Well everyone can have an opinion right or wrong... but them are the numbers from Elections division of La. and not some exit number estimate.
26.9% of the others voted in the Primary election.....

No flame here. I am with you. I'm from New Orleans and the rampant political corruption is one of the reasons I cannot live there again, nor would I ever even consider raising children there. Almost exactly ten years ago I was living back home, saw the blatant voter fraud up front & personal, called the Justice Dept (at the time Janet Reno's playpen), and was basically blown off by the local field office of the FBI. So now I am a Republican. The Dems are just irretrievably corrupt in Louisiana, & they won't be happy until they drive that poor suicidal state into the swamp.

YES, and Democrats have Reason to Weep.
Maybe Bush is right letting them flood in, come one, come all, if they vote like this. I may even take back what I said about China yesterday.
To: crystalk
Let's trade Gore and a coupleahundredthousand of his flunkies for some freedom starved, hard working Chinese.
