[history]
Bill Clinton failed to lead the Democratic Party during last month's midterm elections, the Rev. Al Sharpton said yesterday, and the former president is now compounding the party's poor showing by blaming others.
"For him to say that the Democrats failed to bring out a message is wrong," Mr. Sharpton said in an interview with The Washington Times. "He was the messenger, he was the one out there and helped run the campaign, him and [Democratic National Committee Chairman] Terry McAuliffe. So how can he give an objective opinion with his subjective involvement?"

Hmmm I wouldn't be surprised if Fat Al starts showing up on Rush. You just never know with the guy... ;-)

No, No!! Run Al Run!! This is getting good. Picture this: Al Sharpton runs for Prez in the Dim-o-rats primaries and gets trampled. The "Rev." doesn't even get offered the VEEP slot on the ticket. Then, the black segment of the party feels betrayed, rejected, shut-out or whatever, by the white element of the party (who has taken them for granted for a gazillion years). Now, you have a real stink on your hands and the blacks stay home on election day. The Dims will never win an election without 90% of the black vote. They can't win now WITH 90% of the black vote. Ah yes, this is getting GOOD!

" He added that Mr. Clinton, who was famously described as the "first black president" by author Toni Morrison, was actually "the first beige president. If I run, I will be the first black president."
clinton was the first red president.

I think Sharpton missed the fact that Bill Clinton did go to bt the last month for many Democrats and they were flattened and Clinton and the party were rejected.

When Al gets defeated in the primaries, he'll come back to the plantation, but the dems can probably kiss these +90% numbers from black voters bye bye. That'll be fun to watch. :)

If I run, I will be the first black president No. If Condi runs, she *will* be the first black president.

When sycophant blacks christened Clinton the First Black President, they supposed no actual black would object, and any who did would surely be attacked as Uncle Tom. Well, whatayaknow, the first highly visible black to object is none other tha Al Sharpton, genuine leader o' the peeps.
This could get ugly. Who's the real black?
To: kattracks
The last Democratic president to win a majority of the white male vote was Lyndon Johnson in 1964. Dumbing down society still hasen't reversed this trend:)
Must mean that people who can still read dislike being lied to and discriminated against, e.g., white males.

Hell, if Al keeps telling the truth he may have to switch parties.

Hell, if Al keeps telling the truth he may have to switch parties. I'll confess that I am rather glad that Sharpton called Clinton on this.
It was a typically blatant maneuver. I can't imagine how the man can manage to live with himself. He's disgusting. He's worse than that.

And the first red-nosed President!
