Didn't the Beltway media continually pat themselves on the back for their "professionalism", "restraint" and "discretion" in dealing with the adolescent foibles of Chelsea Clinton? What happened to this "hands off the children of politicians"-ethic on this story?

Well, let's see...

The Bush Twins were busted for underage drinking more than once...Thus, the FACT that they're turing 21 (Legal drinking age) would OF COURSE come up in the story of their birthday.

Chelsea, even though she's gotten publically hammered a few times over the past year or two, WAS OF LEGAL DRINKING AGE!

I dislike (hate) the Clintons, and like (love) the Bush's as much as anyone, but the crying wolf about media bias around here is embarrassing.

Glad they're 21. Now we can dispense with this nonsense.

('Til they get caught with drugs anyway.)

where's Chelsea?

Who cares? As long as she - and her "parents" - are out the picture - figuratively and literally - she can stay wherever the heck she wants!

BTW, now that the President's daughters are "legal", does that mean we can comment on how beautiful they are, without anyone thinking we're perverted old f*rts?

The notion of under-21 as being "underage" with respect to drinking is absurd. Wasn't John Lindh under 21 when he joined the Taliban? Can't you be executed at age 18 because you are considered old enough to reason right vs. wrong? Can't you handle a semi-truck going 65 on a highway?

So what on earth is the big deal about sipping a damn beer?
