My only hesitation was the largest religion. I guessed right but I think the gap is narrowing.

Things I found fascinating:

- How Mexico zooms up there on the religion question

- How devastating the French result is on the El Nino question

- What's up with Mexico and the WEST Question? (Seriously- what the heck??)

- Students in US & Canada are clueless about where Israel is!

I think if you really want to know what's going in the world (and it starts with knowing where countries are) you cannot rely on the education system. You actually have to be naturally curious and do some work on your own. And that's necessary no matter what country you are in. (20:)

I missed religion too. I'm sure I've read in articles that Christians were a minority in the world, that either Hinduism (because of the population in India) or Buddhism (because of the Chinese and the others in India) were largest. I suppose National Geographic would know, since it's their business. Maybe ordinary journalists lied?
