My only hesitation was the largest religion. I guessed right but I think the gap is narrowing.

That's the only one I missed .... I guess my paranoia took over. ;o)

Things I found fascinating:

- How Mexico zooms up there on the religion question

- How devastating the French result is on the El Nino question

- What's up with Mexico and the WEST Question? (Seriously- what the heck??)

- Students in US & Canada are clueless about where Israel is!

I think if you really want to know what's going in the world (and it starts with knowing where countries are) you cannot rely on the education system. You actually have to be naturally curious and do some work on your own. And that's necessary no matter what country you are in. (20:)

I almost said Buddhism. But I got 20/20. The overall results of the American kids is distressing.

I missed religion too. I'm sure I've read in articles that Christians were a minority in the world, that either Hinduism (because of the population in India) or Buddhism (because of the Chinese and the others in India) were largest. I suppose National Geographic would know, since it's their business. Maybe ordinary journalists lied?

I'd be a fricking genius on 'Jaywalking'.

LOL Last week he had Battle of the Jaywalk Allstars, 4 girls against 4 guys. My favorite was this questions to the girls?

What is a Chinese Junk? If you've ever been around a port you might have seen a Chines junk. (he even gave them a hint)

Answer: Stuff they buy in China that says 'Made in USA" on it.

I thought I'd die laughing.

He also asked who wrote Handel's Messiah?

One guy answered "Jay, I don't read books."

Too funny!!!
But a sad commentary on the government schools.

I know. The ones that are just incredible is when they give answers like that and they are teachers. Un-fricking-believable.

Did you catch this?
"Americans who reported that they accessed the Internet within the last 30 days scored 65 percent higher than those who did not."

So to rephrase, those who did not rely on their public school educations knew the answers...

19 out of 20. I missed the religion one. What I learned from taking the test was this. Mexicans who come to the US
so their children will have a better education are making
a big mistake.
