A figure of speech -- Marin County, Calif., from which American Taliban John Walker Lindh hails, can now claim to be the home of the most unusual anti-war demonstration to have occurred in the run-up to possible war with Saddam Hussein.
Wearing what organizers said was "nothing but afternoon rain," 50 women lay down au natural on Love Field last Tuesday to spell out the word "Peace" with their bodies. Organizers said the demonstration was an effort to ""show solidarity with the people of Iraq."
"Women from all ages and walks of life took off their clothes, not because they are exhibitionists but because they felt it was imperative to do so," organizers said, explaining that the women "wanted to unveil the truth about the horrors of war, to commune in their nudity with the vulnerability of Iraqi innocents, and to shock a seemingly indifferent Bush administration into paying attention."![](http://www.accesscom.com/~jkahn/temp/nude_pieceniks.jpg)
In other words, "We need to show ourselves off via a really stupid gesture."

50 women? And not one of them can spell PEACE? Looks like they had other things on their minds.
Nice piece by the way...

When I write the letter "I", I too make sure I have a good strong, sturdy base...

Come to think of it, the @$$ at the base of the "I" looks identical to the one on the "E".
....And what's an "I" doing in "PEACE" anyhow?

Muslim men, and their women, (covered in black from head to toe) will appreciate this show. These women would be stoned to death in most Muslim countries. Is the term "witless," an understatement?

I'm curious about the origin of this picture. Examine the pattern of bodies which form the letter "I". Now examine the pattern of bodies forming the vertical member of the following letter "E". Do they not appear identical?

Oh, nevermind, I get it. The picture doesn't belong with the article and you just threw in a "photoshop" special to accent the post? I was wondering why there was a foot with no one attached to it in the picture...
Now comes the tough part.... trying to convince the crowd that you knew they spelled out the other "PIECE" instead of "PEACE". Silly you....

Oh my God!
The absence of war, which they want, is spelled 'PEACE.'
In that photo, they have spelled 'PIECE' sometimes a euphemism for a sexual exploit ('getting a...').
That is TOO FUNNY! Is that a PhotoShop, or the real thing?

I ran across this picture yesterday on another web site, ROFLMAO, I really didn't notice how they mispelled PIECE, hahahahahaha............

LMAO !! The depth of the trench in the "grass" (g-r-a-s-s) at the bottom of the "I" leads me to believe that fat girl was dragged into posiiton as was her "exact" twin in the base of the "E"........non the less very funny and a keeper fer sure !
Stay Safe!!

They can get naked, provoke people, arm themselves with speech and fight, but they cannot clothe the poor nor end the wars. What are we supposed to do? Run a tank over them? They want to play with the big boys, they got to deal with the big boys.
To: martin_fierro
not because they are exhibitionists So they did not exhibit?
Right, they want to create raw emotions in the world, but they cannot console the world.
They want to propagate messages, but they cannot listen nor shut up in peace in the world for a moment of silence before war.
We are supposed to satisfy and gratify their own urges to get naked, but they are not supposed to end Saddam's war or the war in this nation. Pedophiles do about the same, using bodies to create sick urges and satisfy such urges, emotions and messages.
Beginning conflict is what they do, not end it as honorable soldiers do, no matter which side. After all, they are the ones on the firing line with most interest in keeping the peace, not those naked f@ggots who only hope others will waste themselves for their own cheriched bodies.
