OK, now that the election is over, and the Louse-en-berg won, any idea on what might happen in SCOTUS? Do you think they will rule on the "Illegal Substitution"?

I think we shall see some retirements out of the SCOTUS after this term.

CongressMan BillyBob is the expert, but while we're waiting for him, my bet is no. They finked out once and there's no reason to think they'll put themselves back into the media frying pan.

The SCONJ decision succeeded in flouting the law and electing Lautenberg. But it may have been one of the corrupt provocations that energized the voters in other states. I wonder if the election results would have been so positive if SCOTUS had intervened and enforced the law? Of course we'll never know.

Hope is that the conservative retirements may be delayed until June of 2004. This delay would allow the good folks Bush is appointing now to have 1 1/2 years experience.
