"CNN and NBC are acting like the night is still young."Uh...consider the source.

"Fox reporting Simon 48% Simon $3% with 6 % of votes in."
LOL. I really screwed up this post.
Was supposed to be Davis 48, Simon 43 with 6% in.

It's a non image thread - but if there's only one image on it all night, this should be it!!! ROFL

You need to change your table for Louisiana. With most of the precincts reporting, Mary Landrieu is under 50% and will likely face Suzie Terrell in a runoff. I still think the Republicans can win this seat. President Bush won this state 53-46.
Liberal Mary Landrieu is getting most of Algore's vote, but she's just not making headway with the swing voters who voted for President Bush.

That is, of course, if Chafee or McCain doesn't switch parties. It is far too early to celebrate. McCain will never switch. His abortion stand makes him automatically ineligible for RATTitude.

Hey in Arizona...Where is Sam Steiger finishing for Governor?

Wow! Lanny Davis on ABC Radio excoriating the Dems for having no message, and crediting the President with leading his party well. Lanny: "When you run with nothing against something, you almost always lose."

I just came from a GOP Victory Party in Ft Bend County, Texas. Tom DeLay, the next Majority Leader of the US House was there all evening and he's flying high! We're on a roll!
To: phothus
I feel for you, bud. Look at it this way, streaks are made to be broken. Plus this could be an excellent chance to restock the IL GOP with new, young, and noncorrupt candidates next cycle.

They are also saying that blacks stayed home....but the truth may be that mhking and others are finally getting through ....I think your right, a chink in the armor. Starting to realize that after 30 years of promises, they are just being used.

Reports coming in on KARE-11 in Mpls about some 'irregularities' in voting in Bloomington, MN...seems to be nothing more than just a lot of people lined up to vote...shouldn't amount to anything substantial...just high voter turnout.
To: hole_n_one
how could a "war hero" lose? "...who lost three limbs defending this country?"
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Ok, all in all, putting everything together so far: Is it me, or are we wiping the floor with Rats tonight?

Ed Thompson (Libertarian) took 10% of the vote, leaving the Repub with only 43%.
When will libertarians, both candidates and voters, ever grow a brain? If they can't beat the Repub in the primaries, they aren't going to win the race, yet they run against the Repub and let the state go to the Dims.
Idiots.

Bredesen (D) wins governorship in Tennessee. D*mn!!!!

WISCONSIN
Just heard on local Green Bay station, that Kewaunee county is down 25% because of the machines there not taking the ballots. They are working on it.
