Here in Illinois I feel like I'm in about the only state with nothing to cheer for.. Well, maybe losing the govornership will be a stimulus to wake up the party here... Yep, looks like the sheep here in Illinois made it a clean sweep for the 'Rats. Hand over your guns and wallet, drop yer shorts and grab yer ankles....

How the hell can Massachusetts and Maryland elect Republicans but New Jersey has become a Democratic stranglehold? Oh well, still a great night for Republicans!

"On CNN Judy is interviewing Gephart and he is saying the night is still young and the Dems still might win .. LOL"Bets on whether Dickie is a regular poster on the DU?

Just to give you all an early idea of Oregon. Smith (R) declared winner in local news. Universal health care currently 82% no. However the socialist running for gov IS ahead. With his plans for tax hikes, I will move out of state if he wins.

Just finished my victory nachos with a nice bottle of wine. What a night. I had hoped so dearly for success, but after the last couple of elections, wasn't sure what to think. Here's for hoping that the left coast has some good surprises in store. Here in WA State, the dems have nothin to run for, neither senate seat or the Governorship. Hoping we get a congressional seat on the West side of the state!

Your daughter knows the score. Well done.

Some Tarrant-county type problems reported for Navarro County, Texas? No specifics, but kinda odd...we're the sticks, and our ballots were pencil and paper. Demo-heavy, though...Hmmm. I don't suppose you have a squad of loafered Pubbies there that could go down to the courthouse and check it out? You'll have to press the local farmers into service. Remember, pitchforks make excellent protest sign holders. But you probably won't have time to make signs. Use your best judgment and report back to us!

If MN, MO, and LA all break for the GOP, it could be 52-47-1, Republican favor. If they all drop to Dems, it will be 50-49-1, Dems retaining power.

What's the story in Alaska? Is that Frank Murkowski? Is he even a Republican? Is he even from AK? I'd think that Alaska is a GOP defense for the Senate, at least I hope so.
Chambliss victory speechCNN's Aaron Brown and Jeff Greenfiled are apalled at the outcome.....how could a "war hero" lose?
