"Hopefully, my daughter will do the same in her first election a year from now."
a year from now=2 years from now. :)

Craziness here in St. Louis...took me over 30 minutes to vote three times

Voted at 4:30pm in Carrollton, TX (far North Dallas). Changed my precinct location-went to old place first. No line, paper ballot, voted straight Republican and 2 issues. Old location had 2 people holding Tony Sanchez signs. Lots of yard signs. No signs or people at new voting location.

Voted straight Republican ticket in GA. Let's go SAX - replace MAX!
Ditto.

Checking in from San Bruno, California. I voted for Bill Simon and every Republican on the ballot.
Call your family and friends and make sure they get out and vote today!

Just voted for Mitt Romney in MA. Turnout very light in my district.

Voted straight Republican, here in Bangor, Maine.
What I found interesting was the number of poll watchers: 7; in past elections, I've noted far fewer.
And I understand that there were 2,000 absentee ballots sent out from here, higher than usual. The smell of voter fraud that Republicans have finally whiffed?

Go Forrester!!!!
Long time lurker and new poster.
I voted a straight Republican ticket today. The polls weren't all that busy this AM when I voted (I was # 151).
I live in southern NJ - split fairly evenly between R and D.
Here's hoping the NJ Democrat party gets their illegal actions shoved back in their face...
Good luck to all the conservative candidates and God Bless President Bush.....

I voted about 4:30 p.m. Straight R -- Fisher, Erickson, Adolph and Weldon -- and yes on the fire co. spending question.
Turnout seemed moderately heavy in my precinct -- which is strong GOP-- so that's probably a good sign.
I still don't think Fisher is going to do it though.

OK, I'm back. It took me 'til after work, but I have voted. However, other than the dems trying to raise the sales tax, there are no exciting races here in Northern Virginia.

#74 in Northeast Philly. I voted early and I voted right. When I say right, I mean right.
Done.
Not not on my ballot to vote for/against here in Seattle (Jim McDermott will win 60%+....Seattle Liberal dumba@@es...)
Monorail and major tax hike also on the ballot.

Geez, sorry I was out for a few hours and didn't get back on till now. In case your still wondering (these many hours later, lol) its been rainy all day but nothing major... should'nt keep people from voting.

Voted about 2 pm, dragged almost the whole family and 2 extras with me .
Central NJ-not busy at all-touch screen machines, very easy, no problems.
Forester and straight Republican all the way.
Just forced hubby to go vote. Told him no vote, no dinner.
He voted .

Voted straight R including my boy Tom Tancredo, although I wanted to put in a vote for "Dayhorse" Campbell (Constitution) instead of Allard. Voted all judges out, mostly no on Amendments except for the end of bi-lingual education, and wrote myself in for county surveyor. I was supprised to see touch screen voting like Floriduh, but no need to check for chads! It was a ghost town; no demotard lawyers or bribed/bused-in vagrants anywhere.

I voted here in Missouri at 4 PM after work.
Big races. Votes for Jim Talent for Senate, Rick Schwadron for House. Fairly good turnout.
Now waiting for democratic storm troopers to flood St. Louis city. Sec. of State, Matt Blunt says we won't know for weeks who wins if the senate race is close.

Voted in L.A. for Simon and the rest of the Republicans on the ballot. Voted against ALL the resolutions (each designed to increase my taxes and/or decrease my liberties).
Came back to the office and told all of the reasonable people to get to the polls to fire Gray Davis. Told all the hippie twentysomethings to get out and vote Green.
