Checking in from RI. Voted republican this morning. Praying Patrick Kennedy gets booted out today. He has a serious challenger, a former Navy Seal. Republican gov. candidate was leading the poles going into today's election.

Just voted here in Leavenworth Kansas - had to pencil in a ballot then hand it over a worker who looked it over both sides and then looked at me like I was marked man . . .
On the way out in the parking lot (voting at a school), a woman in car pulled up and asked if this was the voting place . . .I almost said if your a Republican yes, Demos have to go to MO.
Understand the voting at the six prisons in town is going quite smoothly.

My wife and I have just gotten back from our place in Southwest Florida:
2 more votes to get rid of the Florida Supreme Court jokers and all of the circuit court clowns.
2 more votes for Jeb Bush and Katherine Harris.
And of course the rest of the conservatives on the ballot. In our district it's about 80-20 Republican. Just to add a little cheer to everyone, I spoke to the elections folks and they estimate about 65% turnout. So we've done our part here in Florida, now everyone else out west do the same!!!!!!! Get that Daschole off my tv screen.

I voted straight republican at 6 this morning in Ct and reminded the local union yokels that the law required them to stay 150 feet from the polling booth after which I urged them to vote for conservatives.
They smiled.

Two more votes here against Tom "Dung-Heap" Harkin. Straight GOP ticket.

Welcome, Vintage. Hopefully, my daughter will do the same in her first election a year from now.
Born in Milwaukee, myself.

We voted early, here in Precinct #1 in Lee County, Florida, a heavily Republican Precinct in a likewise Republican county. At 7:15 AM the line was out the door and it took a good half hour or forty-five minutes, rather than the usual walk-in, walk-out. It was a good chance to visit with neighbors we don't see very often. I believe the heavy turnout is both a reaction to the fiasco of 2000 and a show of support for the Bush Brothers.

Just finished voting straight GOP in Warsaw-Pact neighborhood of Dilworth, in Charlotte, NC. Pretty empty, and the weather is a Republican dream. Bound to keep lazy Democrats at home, watching taped reruns of "Oprah" and "Sex in the City".

Been there, done that, got the tatoo in Stafford, Virginia

I was voter #139 at my small election area this morning. Wish I could find out how many people should vote there, it has to be in the thousands. I did my part to vote out Baghdad Jim McDermott.

Voted today here in Cape Girardeau, Mo. I had to stand in line, which is very unusual, during non-peak hours. While driving around town shopping, I noticed many polling places with full parking lots and lines outside. And there was very little here to entice voters except the Senate race, as our representative was virtually unopposed, and no really important local referendums. Also voted in Cape Girardeau. Turnout looked light in my precinct but I was in early and most people don't hit my precinct untill after work. You know, people with a job, republicans";^)
Here's to throwin out the Widder.

Just voted here in Virginia, Loudoun County, Mercer District. Very calm surroundings, orderly and efficient, mainly because Republicans run the state Senate and House. You need to show your regristration card or drivers license here and get checked off on a master list. You also have to vote where you are registered. To my knowledge, there isn't much fraud in Virginia...maybe Mud can enlighten me if there is any. Mostly Republicans vote here in my district....thank God! Voted all Republican, John Warner for Senate and Wolf for Congress. Voted no on spending increases, including one to raise the state sales tax. Didn't write in Ollie North...sorry Mud. It just doesn't go with my philosophy.

Just got home from very busy polling place here in Mass... Voted straight Republican.

Voted this morning around 11AM. North Atlanta suburb. About 30 people in line, took about 20 minutes. New touch screen voting machine, had no apparent problems, but don't trust a system that leaves no paper trail (and I'm a techno-geek).
Best part about voting:
Cynthia McKinney
*WASN'T*
on the ballot!!
Straight Republican ticket, with multiple punches (no single push straight ticket voting in GA). Go Chambliss!
SAX MAX!!!

I agree...I noticed the same backlash from us conservatives here in Sarasota county.
