Democrats' dream becoming nightmare [McBride in Florida]

You just had to attend Bill McBride's rally for Hispanics in Broward County this week to see what is happening to his campaign.
There were maybe two dozen discouraged McBride supporters inside a Southwest Ranches restaurant -- and a flood of Bush supporters waving signs outside.
Even in this Democratic stronghold, McBride has trouble.
The panic among Democratic insiders is so thick you can cut it with a knife. They see victory slipping away ... not only in the governor's race, but everywhere.
Democrats are working overtime to make sure McBride's sinking campaign doesn't drag down the whole ticket.

Yes, there are some kind and decent Democrats. Most of them have no idea what their party represents, however. They just equate the term "democrat" with "rule by the people" and vote accordingly.

The good and decent people who remain in the party deserve no less. As I thought while I was just reading another FR thread about Bigfoot, I must say, "There is no such thing as a "good and decent" Democrat!"

Speaking as someone who remembers when there were good and decent people in the Democratic leadership, I think it is essential that the Democratic Party be slapped down hard. Absolutely. We have the spectacle of the leading Democrat, Al Gore, going around the country implying and saying that the presidential election was stolen. Obviously, he knows that the laws of Florida mandated an end to the vote counts and that the Florida supreme court acted lawlessly. He's not that dumb. Yet his main strategy, the leader of the party, is to divide the nation with a campaign of lies. This really is Goebbels stuff.

Great column, but it's not an editorial. Buddy Nevins is the only writer on the Sun-Sentinel that tells it like it is -- on both sides of the aisle. If he says it's bad, it's bad.
The socialist Sun-Sentinel, however, which has done nothing but bash both Bushes since their elections, themselves had to eat crow and endorse Bush for Governor in Sunday's editorial page -- an even better indication of how bad it is.

It was known in Germany and here in the U.S. that the Nazis were promoting a secret homsexual agenda. Hitler and Goering were 'covert' homosexuals, and certainly Goering others were hearvy drug users. At the same time, the Nazis were selectively singling out certain gays for the labor camps.
Jewish prisoners in concentration camps might elect to save themselves by becoming sex slaves (gay and /or straight)... but they could not avoid death for long.
The Proof Is Here
Read the copy of the preface and then click to read the reviews ..... The top Nazis were gay and most everybody knew it at the time. Now the PC crowd has silenced the truth and will seek to bury it forever.

Thanks for that info, bc. Mr. Nevins is a wise man. (^: Most of the political "news" in Florida is simply DNC "opinion" it seems (especially Gannett). So-called editorialists usually have facts to back up their claims...making them better reporters than the real reporters, imho.

Whatever the Nazis did in the privacy of their own bedrooms does not change the fact that they sent homosexuals to concentration camps because of their homosexuality.

If the Dems are working to keep the whole ticket from sinking, I say we put another torpedo into him.

I don't know about her boss, but she said it on McGlaucklin this week... Democrats will just have to settle for the orgasm of the Wellstone funeral, because they aren't gonna take out Jeb.

Great graphic, Joe. Looking forward to seeing it again on Tues. night.

Broward chad is right about Buddy Nevins. He is small build with an unmade bed appearance (usually suspenders holding up pants),and is equal opportunity basher. He goes to all the Gop And Democrap meetings, and listens to conversations(eavesdrops),plus he has a lot of insiders statewide that clue him in. He knows the dirt all over the state. He is a left of center dem,but has a family and some ethics in him. I moved from Broward, but never miss his column on-line he is a great gossip hound.

"There were maybe two dozen discouraged McBride supporters inside a Southwest Ranches restaurant -- and a flood of Bush supporters waving signs outside." Heartwarming, isn't it?
