NO MORE DOOM & GLOOM VANITIES ETC. ABOUT ELECTION - FOCUS ON DEFEATING CLINTON democRATS

PLEASE -- NO MORE DOOM & GLOOM VANITIES ETC. ABOUT THIS ELECTION! FOCUS ON DEFEATING CLINTON democRATS

What I have witnessed on FR this close to the election is driving me nuts. I have seen more personal vanities or comments on threads about how we are going to lose this race or that race, or fretting over polls, or something someone said on a cable news channel. Frankly I am tired of the doom and gloom.

We have some really pro-active Freepers for our Republican candidates and all of us should appreciate all of them. The Florida Freepers jump out as being totally pro-active in supporting Jeb. The Minnesota Freepers and their reports about what is happening with the Coleman campaign are first rate after Tuesday night. And those California Freepers for Simon up against all odds stay positive and it looks like it just may pay off.

There are so many others that are also doing everything they can to make sure our Republican Senate/House/Governor/local candidates win by volunteering in campaigns all across the Country. They are spending countless hours day in and day out to get Republicans elected. I personally want to thank each and every one of them!

Now for the doom and gloom vanities -- we only have a few days until the election so can we stop them until after the election at least. In their place, could you please try to post positive articles and make the DemocRATs that read FR know that we are behind our candidates 100%! Let them know we are going to be broken glass voters to vote to throw out the Clinton DemocRATs.

If you have the time, do something positive between now and the election:

-- Walk your precinct this weekend and ask people in your precinct to vote for Republican candidates.

-- We need everyone's help to get people to the polls to vote out the Clinton DemocRATs so volunteer to your County GOP HQ to drive any Republicans that need a ride to the polls!

-- Sign up to be a poll watcher in your precinct

Report any absnormal voting you observe.

--Stand on a street corner and hold up your candidate's sign in the morning or afternoon traffic.

--Call and find out anything you could do this last weekend to help your local candidates! Guarantee they will appreciate it!

-- Post for your candidates on the Internet and let everyone know by email/phone calls who you are supporting!

Thanks for listening and thanks for all your help to elect Republicans and throw out the Clinton DemocRATs!

I don't like doing vanities but the doom and gloom by some Freepers has finally gotten to me -- there are so many positives for our candidates and that needs to be centerstage.

You are 100% on this. The moaners either are negative because it saves them from actually working, or else it prepares their delicate psyches for defeat. Wimps.

I agree PKM! The momentum is shifting our way.

I'm walking my precinct tomorrow and waving signs on Monday.

The GOP can win this thing. I still say we take MN, SD, and MO. Hoping for GA also and have my fingers crossed about NJ.

I still think the GOP will defend all its incumbent and open seats.

ON TO VICTORY!

Thank God somebody finally spoke the truth! We have a lot of wonderful candidates this time around and we should be darn glad. The RNC has also been fantastic - 10 times better than last time! Instead of complaining, people need to get to the polls and take as many with you as you can. I have lined up a bunch and will see what else I can do to help. We have a great President, First Lady, Vice-President, etc. that are busting their buns to elect Republicans. Let's help them, not sit around and whine because some liberal says we are going to lose. Fight back, freepers! Stop the fraud - get to the polls - pray for our candidates - do what you can to end the era of clinton/mcauliffe DemocRATS!

I like your optimism, I use to be the same way, now at 54 yrs. old and seeing how this country has turned more and more to greed and fascism, not to mention the lies, cheating and corruption of the demoncrats which is only made possible by the weak minded liberals that vote with their "feelings" instead of their brains, I am about to give it up. This election will decide for me at last whether this country is capable of saving itself from the same fate as the european countries that have given into the "easy way" of liberalism. I hope to join you in your joy after this election, but I have serious doubts that I will be able to.

I tend to agree. I decided the other day that giving in to the doom and gloom would just make the next few days even harder, so I'm actually going to assume the best this time instead of the worst.

Considering that historically we should not do well nationally in this election and we have war and economic problems to add to the mix, to have so many races in the bag and so many more too close to call is rather amazing and cause for genuine optimism.

We do have a lot of really good people who are going to fight this one all the way to the end. I don't for a minute believe that fight is in vain.

I think we're poised for a great victory, if only we continue our efforts for another few short days.

I want to see Peter Jennings' face when he announces that Daschle is Minority Leader again!

I am with you!! Lots of doom and gloomers who may not actually be conservatives!!

Anyone who wants to be a little bit of help, go to this thread, and hit the link provided at the top, and VOTE for the best world leader!! Hint: George W. Bush vs. Kofi Annan, Yasir Arafat, Tony Blair, etc. They have stuck Rumsfeld and Cheney in to split our vote. Please vote for the President!

I just returned from a road trip that took me from my home state (IL) to California via Il. MO, OK, TX, NM, AZ & CA. In IL along I-55, I noticed several Jim Ryan signs but I saw only one sign for the RAT. In MO, I saw MANY Talent signs along I-44. My point is PKM is absolutely right! This election is ours IF we work for it! Turnout is everything!

Oh, baby! You and me both! Peter Jennings, Dan Rather, and Tom Brokaw are three of the most pompous jerks in the business. And don't forget Chris Matthews...I would just love to see him when the RATS lose! Thoughts like these should be enough to get us to fight hard! But then, there's always judicial nominees, tax cuts, defense, honor, integrity...and as PKM said, an end to clinton DemocRATS!
