García, who was aided by the Mexican Consulate in Philadelphia, has until Jan. 10 to leave the country voluntarily.

You would think that after learning about the INS f**k up of Malvo and his mother, not to mention the likelihood that Muhammad was trafficking in illegal aliens to finance his terror spree, that the INS would get both of these illegals out of the country immediately. If for no other reason, than an effort to gain some semblance of credibility.

They have no shame.

Disband the INS...they're a waste of space and money.

Amazing, the INS really has the balls to release this illegal alien related to such a high profile case that had many of us in the Washington DC area terrorized for weeks. This country is in grave danger if we allow the INS to keep functioning in this manner. 3000 innocent dead Americans and 10 more shot dead by an illegal alien is not enough to grab the attention of the politicial elite in Washington DC. Truly pathetic.

After almost two hapless, sorry years, it's become perfectly clear that the people in charge have no intention of protecting the American people. The INS should have been abolished early on in 2001. Instead we get some incompetent, bumbling dingbat Paine-Webber crackpot to run it.

A dead fish rots from the head. Enough. It's time for a change.

The judge set relatively lenient terms because García has a wife and three children in Henrico, said Jessica Peterson,a representative of Catholic Social Services in Philadelphia.

And what do you want to bet that his wife and children are here illegally, also? I KNOW I'm going to get flamed for this, but the Catholic Church is more guilty in this that any other organization. They are the ones with the ability to teach the illegals how to get welfare, food stamps, free medical care, etc, etc, etc. They get paid to do this by the taxpayers, and this HAS to stop!

Don't blame the INS! It's not their fault. The don't make policy, they follow the orders of their political masters. Place the blame squarely where it belongs,on the White House.

If he does not leave by Jan. 10, the bond will be forfeited.

Par for the course for the INS. Will be interesting to keep track of this illegal alien and see if he forfeits the bond or returns to Mexico. We could even have a betting pool on this.

García will not be able to apply for legal entry to the United States for 10 years because he stayed here illegally for more than a year

Dang, if he can only hold out a little longer Dubya will let him stay and keep those mean Broder Patrol agents away from him.

This is insane.

True. O'Reilly was talking to a guy from the border patrol last night, and he said that their hands were virtually tied because the government doesn't really want to spend the money to fly these lawbreakers home. I guess they would rather spend the money on schools, welfare, housing and medical care for these potential slave laborers and voters.

OUR MONEY.

This source called them migrants?? How about illegal trespassers? How about invaders? How about Haitian citizens waiting for transportation back to their homeland?

Geesh...nobody in charge gets it. The borders should be closed. Everything that could conceivably happen to lead to that conclusion has happened. I'm seriously very afraid of what it will take for government officials to get real about a very bad situation.

Around here it sure is, the nuns charity care amounts to getting people into some kind of socialist government program, they rarely do real charity anymore. Deport illegals to the Vatican, let them put their money where their mouth is.
