Still No Sign of Boy

HIGH POINT -- Christopher Dixon's family expanded the search for him Sunday, pasting up his face elsewhere in North Carolina and hopefully the world.

"We've got people going all the way to Charlotte," said Laura Gentry, a cousin of Christopher's father.

Christopher, 13, was last seen at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday outside his Gordon Road home. His family fears he was abducted. High Point police have not been able to find any proof of that, but have not ruled it out.

"We have it classified as a missing person," Capt. Ron Stowe said. "There's nothing at this point to indicate to us that there has been any foul play."

The family has lived in High Point for about seven weeks, and say it is unlikely Christopher ran away. If he had, or had gone for a walk and gotten lost, he most certainly would have realized he was in danger and asked for help by now, Gentry said.

Police have ended their searches, which included using a helicopter during the weekend, but said they are following some tips and leads. The family still is organizing searches, including several Sunday around Willard Road, Hickswood Road, the Piedmont Environmental Center and City Lake Park. more...

If they were quick to call out a bloodhound, they would know if he was abducted. The scent would stop at the road. I hope he's found Ok. :(

There is no Amber Alert in our County, the High point Police will not seek one because they have found no clues, I hate to be negative but I am becoming increasingly angry at the lack of good police work being done on this case...
