Well, I was one of the three counter-protesters there and we must have been occupying parallel universes.
I observed numbers of aging baby-boomers trying to relive what they must consider their glory days as war protesters, some guys who've made a career out of being "troubled Viet Nam vets" (who knows if they were?), a bunch of teenagers playing Anarchist for a Day (your gang, I imagine), communists, people consumed by class envy and generally a whole group of people ignorant of history and willing to swallow whole the revisionist propaganda offered by academia.
Funny how you have a right to march and assemble, but the manager of Shaw's didn't have a right to control the private property you were on. Maybe someday when you move out of mom and dad's house, you'll understand the concept. Maybe not. Some people are just ineducable.
Apparently you're under the impression that Shaw's and Burger King have war rooms cleverly concealed under the produce section, just waiting for the chance to annihilate all life on the planet for the purpose of _________(Please fill in the blank.) But wait - if you shut down ALL BIZNESS, who'll give the oppressed workers their raises? Won't they be jobless then? By the way, I noticed more than a few of you inside the Capitalist Running Dog Imperialist Burger King stoking up on burgers before your march against the oppression of Burger King, Shaw's, etc. I guess after the Revolution and a return to the wonderful Noble Savage lifestyle, you'll be growing your own food and all, huh?
All in all, thanks for a very entertaining day. I haven't had such a good laugh since the Sandalistas got voted out. Also, please do try to take a little time out from your busy protest schedule to educate yourselves. You might even realize that history didn't start the day you were born. Painful, I know, but true. "
No further comments from them.

What editorials have you written lately?...you Ariel Sharon zombie.

I'm certainly chastened.
Who wouldn't have enormous respect for someone who has a link to the webcam of Dealey Plaza on his profile?
By the way, it was me.

If you're reaching for an anti-semitic slur,
you Ariel Sharon zombie doesn't quite make the grade.
And it's far better to be one of the undead than one of the brain dead, young lady.

Sorry I missed this, but I was out voted and ended up in DC. Great job!

Ah Maine, borrow daddy's SUV for the weekend, dress up like the Columbine Crew, go to the protest and have some fun trying to take over a travel agency.
You mean we can't block traffic?
Get out of the Rain before you catch cold
I remember being young and stupid. It was fun but then I got a life.

Snowing up there yet? Sorry! I had to go last night.
It snowed, but it was wet and heavy. This morning, you never would have known it had snowed. It's alllllll gone.

NPR Maine radio did interviews with mostly women/mothers who were afraid their sons would be sent to war. Others were wringing their hands over health care, education..the economy and social security. Mother Jones had an interesting article on Peace Protestors in 2002
Meet the Movement.

"...speak incoherently and mishandle your tools."
Speaking of tools, does using my Makita power plainer on the bondo on the '79 chevy pickup void the warranty?
