President Bush and First Lady Laura greeted Chinese President Jiang Zemin and his wife, Wang Yeping in Crawford, Texas today. Bush and Zemin will be discussing the situation in North Korea as well as the war on terror. The President also issued a statement regarding the untimely death of Minnesota Senator Paul Wellstone. The flag over the White House was lowered to half-staff in honor of Wellstone. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Wasn't it awful!! I was actually forced to get the latest on those ugly TV cable news channels! I hate that! I could see the Paul Wellstone thread, but the dang thing wouldn't load! Finally, I couldn't get on line at all here! Forced to go to the Newsmax forum which is quite the experience! Think we have nuts here? Whew!

Yep!! Do any of you know anything about truckers? On the way home from Atlanta this afternoon, we were in the middle lane on I-75. Hubby was driving and I was keeping an eye on all the truckers. I always try to help them get in other lanes, etc. Well, today, one was in the far right lane. I noticed that he was looking at us, then he got on his horn. I had no idea what was going on but told hubby to slow down and let him in front of us. When he got over, he was speeding like nothing I have ever seen a truck driver do and I have seen plenty of speeders but this was different. I was just curious as to what was going on.
