Are you sure you aren't a Democrat. No, unlike some Freepers I have a brain. And I have a good sense of respect for the hell that we all have to go through in this life.
It's easy for you guys to sit back and play armchair quarterback. Me too for that matter.
I just happen to see the world a little differently. And I'm wasting my time arguing with those that think t-shirts and Mars Bars will take care of the sniper...

None taken.... LOL.....

The finger would be the most defiant picture.
The finger should be an extreme close-up. The middle fingernail should be painted with an American flag and the finger should be wearing a ring with a U.S. tank rolling over a crumpled crescent.

I can't imagine what it would do to them if I were wearing a "Snipe This" t-shirt.
Obviously, you haven't given much thought to the meaning of the shirt.

Middle finger in crosshairs picture available
here. Let me know if you use it.

It would have been way funnier without the "shot by the sniper". There's no reason to diminish the humor by trying to make it understandable to the less mentally-quick.

I still have the fear that my kids or their friends would get ahold of it. That's an understandable fear, and precautions should be taken, but to me it's just like having a table saw, mineral spirits, or a nail gun around the house. Those things aren't to be messed with, and the kids need to know that, or they'll kill themselves.

We will most likely teach them all they need to know, then tell them never to touch it/them!Our kids are free to handle a firearm as much as they want, upon request -- it just has to be under airtight adult supervision.

Whinning and name calling will not take care of the snipper either. The tee-shirt is a good idea. IMO. Even if others dis-agree. It is your way of claiming superior knowledge of how to deal with things that bugs me. You are no expert on what is going on. You can respectfuly give your ideas, but don't think it is any more valid than someone's ideas in Florida, or on the moon. Playing the martyr is really un- becomming.
we are all in this life together- your trip is no more scary or important than anyone else's trip. You have a snipper right now, others have had and will have other stressful situations. People died trapped in burning building, people have had family members raped, murdered and attacked. some have lived through riots. You have no monopoly on grief, pain ,fear or frustration.
Let people deal with their grief in the ways they can.

Let people deal with their grief in the ways they can. Which is EXACTLY what I said about your idea of sending candy and cards...

I don't have to doubt, because I know him, and he is not. He is not feeling abused by this stupid idea, you are feeling abused because you asked an opinion, but only wanted to hear praise.
I chuckle at the idea... But there are a lot of ideas that are funny in the abstract, but are not funny anymore when you make them a real thing. Not funny at all.

talking to you is like talking to a woman.
