She should not eat at places like that if she can't afford the tip.
Of course she is a lot more generous with OPM.

Love your keywords! Streisand is stiffing the working stiffs just as Hitlery and Bent do so often. They're all noclass!
Strange that hubby Brolin didn't pick up the tab, or has he been reduced to lapdog pet poodle status?

Antinomianism 2. The belief that moral laws are relative in meaning and application as opposed to fixed or universal.

I think the most amusing part is that the half-wit actually had to use a calculator to figure out 15%.
To: I_Love_My_Husband
That she needed a calculator speaks volumes too. What a silly old lady she is becoming...

Much as I'd love to believe it's true, I don't trust anything from the National Inquirer.

the diva whipped out a crumpled, 1-year-old $100 discount coupon A place like that would issue a $100 coupon???
I hope this story is true, but.....

then took a calculator from her purse and figured a 15 percent tip only on the $80 she had to cough up! Since not everyone's aware of it, I'll point out that whether or not you use a discount coupon, gift certificate, two-for-one deal, or whatever, you're still supposed to figure your tip on the full price of the meal(s), not on what you ended up having to pay after discounts.

You sound like a socialist - you accuse her of having a lot of money. Is that a crime? That is what is being instilled in us by Democrats. But how does it tie with your own idea of getting rich for yourself and your family? Do you hate what you want to become?
About the tip - do you get a tip where you work?
Do you tip more than a couple bucks for lunch?
Why does it personally insults you her being frugal with her money? Do you feel that you are in charge of her money and she is suppose to throw a couple grands at lunch?
Is that how you envision yourself to behave if you had a lot of dough?

Isn't she eligible for senior a citizen's discount?
To: I_Love_My_Husband
Nothing against doddering old fools, because I hope to be one myself someday, but Mr. and Mrs. Streisand increasingly fit that description.
To: I_Love_My_Husband
I think I read some years ago that she frequents thrift stores looking for really cheap deals.

I love your husband, too; and, I don't like Streisand.
But how much lower thant the National Inquirer can you go in selecting your sources?
Are you reducing FR to the checkout line in the supermarket?

All this talk about Babs lately has started a song in my head that I can't get rid of; about a second hand nose or something.

I have never seen a $100 discount coupon for a restaurant. Anyone? Gift certificate, yes. But not a discount coupon.
