Divide your restaurant tab by 7 for the tip. That comes as close as you need to result in a 15% tip.

Only 15%? My service industry friends would be appalled (those who work in bars are more inclined to tip more).

I suppose that if she had eaten a $100 meal by herself that she would owe no tip?
