A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 10/13/02
yahoo.com, whitehouse.gov

Posted on 10/13/2002 5:33:01 PM PDT by rintense

President Bush and First Lady Laura stayed in the nation's capital this weekend so Laura could finish up her National Book Festival yesterday. This morning, the first couple attended church services, and when asked by reporters to comment on the bombing in Indonesia, Bush called the act cowardly and urged the world leaders to once again unite in the global war against terrorism. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

YOU can check your freepmail....anyone else can ask me behind the scenes, too, if you want.

Just start watching the poster's who you don't recognize....do some investigative work. I may be wearing my foil hat too tightly, or maybe not.

I remember well the feeling of going back to work after staying home to raise my kids. Yep, it's scary. You wonder what you missed. You wonder about all the changes.

DON'T FRET! When they find out how intelligent and diligent you are, THEY'LL LOVE YOU.

Is there a GOOD book on Excel? Or some place on the net to learn that? It's BASICALLY easy...but some of it is way over my head.

Which doesn't say much......

Brad's Gramma probably is referring to me, Right_Rev.
11 days younger than she under this name. Been lurking since 78 and had my computer city account lost from those days. I've heard "still water runs deep"!

What a nice bonus, a Sunday Dose :)

I agree, the President does look tired. His eyes look a little red rimmed in a couple of pictures. What a blessing for all of us that he is a man with a deep and abiding faith. He carries such a burden these days. I'm often reminded of a piece by Peggy Noonan endorsing him just before the election in 2000. Her closing statement was:

'The next president may well be forced to sheperd us through the first nuclear event since World War II, the first terrorist attack or missile attack....the Big Terrible Thing is coming...If we must go through a terrible time, a modest man of good faith is the one we'll need in charge. That is George Walker Bush, governor of Texas.' Peggy Noonan, 2 Nov 2000

Wow, Noonan was almost chillingly prophetic in that piece.
