On a trip up highway 29 through the Napa valley yesterday, I noticed quite a few large campaign signs for Mike Thompson next to the highway on the vineyards of several wineries. While I believe they have every right in the world to support any candidate they wish, I do believe that people need to know who is being supported with their wine buying dollars. If you buy wine from Sutter Home, Robert Mondavi, Corison Winery, Rutherford Grove, or Cosentino Winery, just to single out a few, you are helping to re-elect Baghdad Bootlick Mike Thompson.
