Amazing as it seems, America is over 911. Yes, it took a little more than one year, but it was confirmed Monday night when The President of The United States was to make an announcement on the evidence against Saddam Hussein. This is a country desperately close to going to war against Iraq, and the networks were more interested in making sure their Fall programs were not interrupted.

The networks with cable news affiliates like NBC, or Fox can be excused, but what about ABC and CBS ? This was not news? This was not big news, given the fact no one knows who is behind the “Beltway Sniper”, this was a huge story. Not to the networks.

Some theorize the networks did not want to give George Bush anymore time on the “war story”, they want the Prez to talk economy. You see economy is something liberals feel is where the President is weak. The master plan is to derail a Bush 2nd term. The media is trying to do it’s part.

The lock out, strike on the West Coast also smells. Anything to weaken the economy is a stain on Bush’s record, the unions want to do their part.

Amazing how many elements are putting politics above country.

Please remember the Hollywood elite next time you shop for music CDs or a movie to watch. I will never have a Barbara Streisand CD in my home, no reruns of Lou Grant, and no Alec Baldwin anything. It’s my way of “doing my part” in this battle.

That’s how I see it!

I was stunned Monday night when CBS didn't air the President's speech. We had it on for the local news, fully expecting the speech to follow. Fortunately we're not limited to the networks and we got to hear his speech. Got it on tape, too....and printed off. I do my best to keep up with all this stuff. I'll never forget and am disgusted that so many have. I simply do not understand their mind-set.

"That's how I see it!" by Todd Webb

We will not forget! The media has done everything they could do since the election to minimize the coverage of President Bush; he has been talking to people all across the United States ever since he took office, but the media ignores him. Now he makes a speech about possible war with Iraq, and the media can't be bothered. We will not forget!

I just got in from a long Day Sam and I am catching up on the thread.

In case anyone cares, I have been boycotting certain Entertainment stars and other things for a long time.

I know that it may seem hokey, but I do it anyhow. I first started with Woody Allen. I think that he is a pig. The Burt Reynolds thing irked me too (the row with Lonnie Anderson).

In the case of so called Actors especially expressing opinions I always wondered just exactly that it is that gives them relevence! These people make a living by pretending to be someone that they are not! Considering that they are professional fakes, why on Earth would anyone listen to anything that they had to say?

I have a number of Hollywood Stars who`s income I will not ever willingly or knowingly contribute to.

Since the Impeachment thing, and the dumb stuff that I have seen and heard, I have a lot of things to which I deprive myself. I can now look at it as more time for Freeping!

C'est la vie.

OH for sure! I try to stay away from the TV and every Hollywood crap I can. Those people don't deserve my time or my money.
