Enter stage right, the much needed villian, John Ashcroft. He's not Newt Gingrich but he may do in a pinch.

A big bump for Ashcroft for coming out on this issue! Also for truth in voting and our military voters!

Every time the Dims think they can beat the odds and scam their way through, GW has been ahead of them.
Refreshing,. Really!

Keep an eye on how the "unbiased" media handles Ashcroft's role in this. Their so-called objectivity will be on display for all to see.

This could be very interesting, since I saw one of the judges admit that several counties in N.J. had violated the federal laws concerning the military vote already, when she was admonishing the attorney that brought up the problem about the military votes.

They should use Larry Thompson or the head of the civil rights division on this, not Ashcroft.

Has anybody heard whether DOJ can do something to control fraud in Miami-Dade and Broward in November?

How can this affect the NJSC's ruling, which is the final say on if the Dems can break the law?

Media bias has never been more evident since this story broke, even before the court ruled, the media was already calling Lautenberg the Democratic Candidate.

It is probably the responsible thing for Ashcroft to ask NJ for information in response to Forrester's complaint, but of course Ashcroft will be demonized as "partisan." Unlike the dem NJ Atty General, who had the nerve to get up and tell the NJ Supreme Court that he was there purely representing "the voters." Yeah right.

I just want it on record...this conservative
loves John Ashcroft. To me,Ashcroft is outta
the Jesse Helms mold, and that is as close
to God as humans get. Go JUSTICE DEPARTMENT !!!!!!!!!
To: Brytani
Ashcroft needs to saty under the radar, and Bill Frist needs to be front and center. Sen. Frist should schedule a DAILY press conference and Ashcroft should keep his cards close to the vest.

Ashcroft's involvement will do nothing more than motivate the dem voters....this year's Gingrich. He is an easily 'villainized' person.
And, while on the subject of AG Ashcroft, it is too bad he did not display this same enthusiasm for government corruption at the federal level....lynx fur and BIA scandals, Boston FBI office where the innocent are incarcerated and the guilty protected, Loral where the shareholders are fined and the guilty ignored, Chinagate......

The only way to stop fraud in Miami-Dade and Broward is to annex them to Cuba. And since I unfortunately live in Miami-Dade, can we wait to do that until I can move?
